made his college decision committing to Brown on Monday. Talk about perfect fit! He will really excel at this level and get the high academics as well.
Woo is the ultimate leader and winner at the high school level. A true point guard that loves to get others involved. He has an off the charts basketball IQ for the game while being able to make those around him better on a consistent basis whether it is finding shooters for open shots or hitting his big man on rolls. For both his high school team and with the
Illinois Wolves
he has such a special connection on the court with big man

finding him on slips, seals, rim running, and lobs. Puts the ball right where it needs to be each time. More than just a passer though as he is a plus three point shooter both pulling up and off the catch. One of the better off the dribble guard shooters in the state with how well he gets balanced and can pull up. Moves well when the ball is not in his hands to get open. Also really like his soft touch finishing game he gets in the lane with his quickness for floaters on the regular. Defensively he is pesky on the ball with active hands and often turns them into points quickly on the other end.
He told us why Brown was his choice.
“Ever since I was a kid my dream was always to be able play basketball at the next level. Coach Martin and the entire Brown coaching staff has been fully supportive of me from the beginning of my recruitment and has treated me as a top priority recruit from the start so it was easy for me to choose Brown University to continue my academic and athletic career.”
Woo has a lot of helium heading into his senior year. Going to see a bump in our next rankings update and will be one of the best players in Illinois high school basketball next season for one of the top teams as DePaul Prep will go for a four-peat!
