7/17/25: [player_tooltip player_id='2133810' first='Ty' last='Cobb'] did [player_tooltip player_id='2133810' first='Ty' last='Cobb'] things against Team Thrill late Thursday afternoon. His composure and strength on the ball provided the foundation for STARS 16u's game. They truly leaned on him to either score or create on almost every possession. Upperman High did the same thing on their way to the 2025 3A State Championship. Ref whistled [player_tooltip player_id='2133810' first='Ty' last='Cobb'] for an offensive foul in the final minute as he tried to establish on the low blocks against a small defender.

7/17/25: STARS 16u gave up a lot of size to Team Thrill (Baltimore, MD) Thursday evening. Sure, the STARS ran them in transition, but when Thrill battered them down low it took guts and fight to contend. Connor was the most physical blocking out. He was a bruiser against bruisers. Considering he began his basketball career known for his outside shooting this is a surprising development. It speaks to his well-rounded game and a willingness to tackle all challenges.

7/17/25: Gritty. Did not take many shots against Team Thrill. Mostly, Luke provided ball-handling and made sound decisions. His reputation is that of a strong shooter, but again that was not shown off in this game.

7/17/25: Great lower-body strength. Might start for Brentwood Academy this season. He and [player_tooltip player_id='2133797' first='Bryson' last='Wade'] kind of play the same position, but Troy is so disruptive defensively than he might get to start alongside.

7/17/25: Beautiful shooting form. Ivan will get overlooked by most of the fans in Tennessee because he plays for Lakeway Christian. It is a team that just does not cross paths with most squads. Still, Ivan is a legit college prospect. He is what you would expect from a European-born forward. Faces the basket effectively. Sees the floor like a guard. Hits open shots. Does not dribble much. For Lakeway Ivan will play some center, but colleges will be able to play hi at SF or PF too.

7/17/25: Gritty. Huston plays a big role on BMaze 16u. He runs the show. Torres is very sharply toned but still needs even more bulk over the next two years to prepare him for college basketball. That said he will play beyond high school. Natural winner. Crafty handle. Average quickness for a starting HS guard.
