Every year in Mid-July, the AAU Basketball world revolves around the Palmetto State. One reason why is the Adidas Three Stripes Select Basketball Championships, which take place in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This is a great opportunity for me to see some of the brightest future stars and this year was no different. Check out my five favorite Florida and Georgia prospects from the 2025 Adidas 3SSB Championships:

[player_tooltip player_id='1850525' first='Symon' last='Ghai'] leads off my Florida and Georgia Favorites from the Adidas 3SSB Championships. He is a physically imposing Center who not only stood out with his play on the floor, but with his positive attitude and leadership off of it. Ghai worked hard offensively to score with his left hand around the rim, gain second possessions, and be a lob threat. He isn't a high volume shot-blocker yet, but his presence still protects the rim by deterring opponents from having easy looks inside the paint. Symon tallied 14 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks in a win over Breakaway Basketball on Wednesday.

Kuol is the first of two Anthony Edwards Five standouts from this week. He flashed elite offensive talent often in Rock Hill, doing things at his size that are extremely unique. Deng displayed good mobility and athleticism, and I also really liked his feel on the offensive end. In the Wednesday Play-In win over Team Esface, Kuol had multiple putbacks, a few nice passes inside the perimeter, a push shot, and a left-corner three. In Thursday's Round One game, he wasn't as consistent, but he did hit two really nice mid-range jumpers off the dribble.

It was easy to see why schools like Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina, and more are all over Wingfield based on what he showed this week. He is the prototype 4 in modern College Basketball, having the ability to handle the ball, hit jumpers inside and out, and punish smaller matchups in the post. Jalan is also physically gifted with a strong 6'8" frame, soft hands, and good athleticism. Wingfield put up 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks on Wednesday and 13 points and 7 rebounds on Thursday, playing for AE5.

Tillman is a bouncy big man prospect from Georgia. He displayed really good moments in the post on Wednesday and Thursday, but Thursday was his most productive game, going for 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 blocks in a big win over K-Low Elite. Elijah is an explosive jumper off two feet, but also has decent hands to control rebounds and cause havoc on defense. He uses his size to be a pest on the offensive glass, making life difficult for opposing bigs even if he doesn't pull down the missed shot.

Rounding out the list is [player_tooltip player_id='2467575' first='Baer' last='Bailey'] of the [program_tooltip program_id='2433307' first='Atlanta' last='Celtics']. He had a strong showing in the Wednesday Showcase loss to Indiana Elite, putting up 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Bailey has an elite mid-range game for his age, capable of facing up from the high-post, finding the middle of a 2-3 zone, and pulling up off the dribble. Combine that with his positional size and athleticism, and Bailey has the potential to be a really good player down the line.
