It's June! The Scholastic Period has begun, meaning prospects across the Palmetto State are back with their High School programs for the next 30 days competing in various camps and events. Friday I was in Columbia, South Carolina, for the annual University of South Carolina Men's Basketball Team Camp. With over 80 teams in attendance, there are going to be prospects who don't always get the shine they deserve. These five prospects are 2026s who performed well on Day One and could be in for a big Senior Season. Check them out:

First up on the list of under-valued 2026s is [player_tooltip player_id='2175529' first='Braydyn' last='Francis']. I caught up with the Eagles in the first game of the day when they matched up with Grovetown (GA). Chapin got off to a hot start, but Braydyn made several clutch plays to help get the game into overtime. Although he struggled with the opponent's size on the ball, he adjusted to it well with his crafty handle, deep range, and ability to fit passes through tight windows. Francis also had a couple of impressive finishes around bigs at the rim and drew a key charge. He finished with 12 points in the game.

McFadden was at the center of all good things for Bethune-Bowman in Columbia. The 6'4" forward go to show a different side of his game than with his AAU team, impressing with his handle and movement for his size. McFadden was able to make plays off the dribble while limiting turnovers. He had some nice moments on the perimeter as well, knocking down a straightaway three and tossing some incisive passes through the lane. Terrance also put his body on the line by drawing a charge on the defensive end.

Next up on the list is [player_tooltip player_id='2561026' first='Thomas' last='Reed'] of Charleston Collegiate. Thomas was a bright spot in a tough loss for the Sun Devils. He knocked down four threes in the game I watched, showcasing his high release and deep range. Although it is the shooting that should pique College Coaches' interest, Reed's size allows him to be a factor in several other ways. Thomas can back down smaller defenders in the paint and will work on the offensive glass. On the other end, he was in passing lanes, forcing turnovers that led to transition scores, but he will also run the floor when others start the break.

Isaiah had a strong showing in Colonial Life Arena on Friday. His play made a difference on both ends of the floor, getting minutes as the 1 and the 2. Oree has long arms which makes him a tough guy to get past and an even tougher guy to shoot over. He is also a smart passer who made several nice plays for his teammates. As the game went on, Isaiah scored more of his scoring prowess as he played off two in the lane, knocked down a mid-range pull-up, and hit a left-wing three. Oree put up 8 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals in the win over Bethune-Bowman.

[player_tooltip player_id='2832849' first='Traysn' last='Clinkscales'] had one of the best days of anyone at the USC Team Camp on Friday. He looked to be on a mission in Columbia, knocking down three after three and setting up teammate after teammate. The Rams play at a fast pace on both ends of the floor and Clinkscales is a big part of that. He has active hands, reads the floor well, and is a tough finisher in the lane. Tray is also a knockdown three-point shooter whenever he has the ball in his hands. He can hit movement threes off sets, spot-up on the wings when other guards work, or even pull up off the dribble. Clinkscales went for 16 points on 4 3PM in a loss to Berkeley.
