After seeing Guess have some nice flashes last season as a junior for Kettering Alter, he's taken his game to the next level in the month of June. A skilled wing forward who has improved his perimeter skill and is starting to really flash the ability to handle the basketball and punish the defense on the outside, Guess combination of size, athleticism and perimeter skill is helping him become a really tough cover. Staying productive on the interior will be crucial as well, Guess has the frame and size to score in the paint and rebound on both ends of the court. I expect Guess to be a priority small college target when schools really lock in on seeing him during the summer and throughout his senior season.

A player who keeps improving when I watch him play, Sims checks a lot of boxes as a wing with size, length and athleticism. With a quick first step, the ability to attack a closeout off the dribble and a capable 3-point shooter, Sims was helping his OBC squad against some top competition when I saw him in the spring. Expect Sims to continue to get more buzz throughout the summer heading into his senior season.

One of the top scoring wings in southeast Ohio, the lefty Lloyd can really shoot and score the basketball as an off-ball player. Able to score as a spot-up shooter, off cuts and putback layups, Lloyd uses his height and length to grab rebounds and shoot over smaller defenders. For Lloyd to see the floor early in his college career, defense will be key both on and off the ball. If Lloyd can hang on that end of the court, he could be an interesting small college shooter with size.

One of the top quarterbacks in Ohio, Mock made his commitment to Bowling Green earlier this month but I wanted to still show him some love on the hardwood as well. A key piece for Pickerington North, Mock brings toughness, strength, rebounding and spot-up shooting to the table. I would definitely recruit Mock at the small college level if basketball was his first sport but we're excited to see what he can do on the gridiron at the college level.

Another multi-sport athlete, Pequignot is one of the top soccer players in western Ohio and already has 50 goals to his career tally. On the hardwood, Pequignot is a tough defender who plays hard and uses his quickness to score offensively. Last winter Pequignot averaged 15 points a game with over 5 rebounds a night as well. Look for Pequignot and [player_tooltip player_id='2125732' first='Brodey' last='Reisinger'] to form one of the best duos in western Ohio this winter.

I was impressed with Eaton on the Prep Hoops Circuit playing for Ohio Saints. Eaton was making shots off the catch and bounce and played with confidence with the ball in his hands. Lancaster has been hovering around .500 for the past four years but with Eaton heading into his senior season, the Gales should strive for a winning season this winter which would be their first in almost 20 years.
