The [program_tooltip program_id='2075447' first='E1T1' last=''] and Titans Johnson games weren't close so the Kai squad won those with comfort and won a close game over the Crossfire to take the weekend crown. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Minnesota Sting defeated a team from Northwestern Iowa by a point to win the event in the Pentagon but they also beat Black Hills Express, a Sanford teams, and North Dakota Attack for a four win weekend title.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] Derr was the top team in the 16u B division earning three wins beating Ball City by 22, they beat WOTN Dooney by two scores, and beat WOTN Abbott by 16. It was a three game run for the weekend championship. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle'] Puma won the other 16u B division defeating teams from 58 Hoops, [program_tooltip program_id='2075310' first='Northstar' last='Titans'] (Sharp) and [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat'] Westonka for the other weekend championship. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Impressive 4-1/3-1 Showings</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Playmakers North Showcase won three games in the Playmakers event last weekend including a win over a good Playmakers Appleton team and then they lost to [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite']. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite'] was 3-1 with some big number wins beating Playmakers North, the [program_tooltip program_id='2075852' first='Spartans' last=''] and another Playmakers team, but they did lose by one to the Playmakers Appleton team that Playmakers North defeated. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
