There were tons of great shooting performances at this year's Riverside Brookfield Shootout. In this list I recapped the ones I witnessed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552486' first='Danny' last='Houlihan'] New Trier 2026

Danny had an amazing opening game at R-B connecting on 8 three-pointers and finishing with 32 points. Good size at 6'4 for a catch and shoot specialist. Has some low D1s who are intrigued by his ability to just make shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105390' first='Jayden' last='Wright'] Benet 2026

Jayden has been one of the most consistent shooters in the state since he entered high school. Wright has added and strengthened multiple assets to his game. His passing is elite and his ability to score with layups and floaters has improved so much. But one thing remains is his shot making. Against Young, he hit shots on the move off high-ball screens and more. He is a Division 2 prospect who can easily slide into a D1 situation.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552481' first='Rocco' last='Pagliocca'] Stevenson

Rocco has been one of the better shooters in the state since I first watched him at our Freshman Camp years back. He has a college range on the shot which he displayed against DePaul Prep and Metea Valley at times. Pagliocca has an unorthodox shot but it always seems to find the bottom of the net when given space. He's improved his stability with the ball in his hands and getting downhill scoring in traffic has become an additional asset. Small school prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2839863' first='Michael' last='Nee'] Glenbard East 2026

Of course, a guy who we have labeled as the best shooter in the state would see his name on this list. Nee had several coaches talking about how well he shot the ball from deep and how good his motor is on the court. Michael has constant movement and can get his shot off quickly because of how well he sets his feet.

[player_tooltip player_id='2442174' first='Anthony' last='Glaviano'] Norte Dame 2026

I think anyone who makes 9 threes in a game is automatically placed on the top shooters list and that's what Anthony did. Against a talented Libertyville squad, Glaviano went on a shooting spree and ended with 35 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1435692' first='Rykan' last='Woo'] Depaul Prep 2026

The hardest-working guard in the state could have been on the other scoring list but the game I watched he was one of the better shooters on the court. Rykan is always on the court working If he's not setting someone up he's sprinting hard off a screen to hit an open shot. Against Deerfield, he went on a run where he hit several shots off the bounce and while spacing off the ball. Woo had multiple games where he scored 20 points or more and is a name that several colleges have talked about heading into the second live period weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2467517' first='Darrius' last='Hawkins'] Homewood Flossmoor 2028

Yes, D-Hawk is one of the premier guards in the state and is often seen as a walking highlight reel. But in the matchup against Warren Hawkins was the shooter. He hit 7 threes in the game showing he is consistent in other areas of his game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105396' first='Cameron' last='Mercer'] Riverside Brookfield 2026

Mercer is a phenomenal catch-and-shoot guard who was very comfortable making shots in his home gym. He is a three-level scoring threat that makes a ton from mid-range and the corner three. Could make a case for a low D1 opportunity but would fit in well at a good D2.

[player_tooltip player_id='1845353' first='Amir' last='Danforth'] Rockford Auburn 2026

One of the few players that's already committed Danforth continues to show deep range on his shot and how consistency is key to his success. Amir has gotten stronger and figured out how to mix in a drive to the basket now and then. North Dakota State is getting a stud from Rockford.

[player_tooltip player_id='2890100' first='Brayden' last='Borrowman'] Oswego 2026

Very good high school spot shooter Brayden hit 7 threes in a victory over Schaumburg. He moves well off the ball and has a unique set shot that goes in. At 6'4 Borrowman is a small school prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2839878' first='Mason' last='Martin'] Neuqua Valley 2027

Martin is a terrific shooter with size. At 6'5 he can shoot on the move and off the catch. He gets a lot done while playing off Kelly, but Mason is also able to create off the dribble to score around the rim. He's a player who's trending upwards.
