After checking in on the Guards earlier this week, today we turn our attention to prospects that make most of their impact on the perimeter, without the ball in their hands.

Below is a look at five wings that appeared in our latest rankings update.

Eason, a versatile wing out of St. Paul's School in New Hampshire, has continued to solidify himself as one of the top 2028 prospects in New England. He's a two-way, 6'5" wing that has the ability to play in the paint and on the perimeter on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he moves well laterally, has the strength needed to guard in the paint, and is a willing rebounder in traffic. Offensively, he can handle the ball in screening action, is hard to guard when attacking the rim, and is a consistent and reliable perimeter shooter.

McCloud, an athletic wing out of the Loomis Chaffee School in Connecticut, has the ability to impact games with his strength, toughness, and physicality. A standout on the gridiron, he brings some of that physicality to the basketball floor, while also proving to be a plus athlete and fluid mover. He flies up the floor in transition, is a handful when he gets downhill off the bounce, and is capable of finishing through contact around the rim. Defensively, he can guard four positions on the floor, does a great job of shutting off dribble penetration, and has a terrific motor on the glass.

Spears, a two-way wing out of Stratford High School in Connecticut, has the ability to score the basketball in a variety of ways on the offensive end of the floor. He's a capable perimeter shooter that has good range on his jumper in catch and shoot situations. He does a nice job of attacking off the bounce, showing a quick first step and some creativity around the rim as a finisher. He's gotten stronger and now seems more capable of playing through contact. Defensively, he guards up and down a position and has the ability to make plays in passing lanes.

Chiara, a scoring wing out of Cushing Academy in Massachusetts, has an advanced frame and the ability to score the basketball at multiple levels. Originally from New York, he's an above the rim athlete that can really get out and go in transition. He's got good open floor burst, the ability to handle as a secondary creator, and is a tough shot maker in isolation situations. Defensively, he impresses with his combination of positional size, length, and lateral mobility, all of which allow him to be a perimeter stopper on that end of the floor.

Wheeler, a versatile wing out of the MacDuffie School in Massachusetts, has a variety of ways to score the ball while also showing some skill as an on-ball creator. He's comfortable putting the ball on the floor for multiple dribbles, and while he's a high level perimeter shooter, does a nice job of using shot and pass fakes to open up driving lanes. He has a quick first step and uses his length to his advantage as a finisher around the rim. Defensively, he can guard up and down a position, uses his length to make plays in passing lanes, and shows a willingness to mix it up on the glass.
