[player_tooltip player_id='2194891' first='Cayden' last='Daughtry'] | 2027 | Calvary Christian (FL)

Daughtry is one of the country's elite scoring guards in the 2027 class and he brought his perimeter shooting with him from Florida to Las Vegas. The 6-foot combo guard is a lethal offensive weapon both on and off the ball as his ability to knock down quick trigger jumpers off the bounce and off-movement three's without the ball lend to his ability to score in a variety of ways. Daughtry has deep and consistent range off the catch and off the dribble and was 4-for-5 from three Sunday night and tallied 24 points in his first game.

Jacob Webber | 2026 | Kearney (NE)

Webber has the textbook definition of shooting form with his combination of elite balance and base, high release, tight rotation and fluidity from shooting pocket through his release. The 6-foot-6 shooting guard/wing connected on 7 of his 11 three-point attempts with three of those coming in back-to-back-to-back style. Webber is best in spot-up situations with multiple spot and range consistency.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956542' first='Kaiden' last='Bailey'] | 2026 | Santa Margarita (CA)

Bailey, who was also mentioned in our story on best passers, had is scoring arsenal dialed in on opening night. The 6-foot-3 combo guard is one of the best perimeter scorers on the west coast and his effectiveness is often predicated on his three-point shot falling. Bailey was aggressive from the opening tip-off and drilled a couple of quick three's that boosted his confidence even more. The rising senior finished with 21 points including 4-for-9 from three-point range.

Kameron Cooper | 2027 | Bishop Gorman (NV)

Cooper is an intriguing west coast prospect who seems to be blossoming into a "three and D" type of player. The wiry 6-foot-5 shooting guard/wing looked comfortable playing in his home gym and had his off-catch perimeter jumper falling from all over the court. Cooper knocked down four of his seven attempts from deep.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956480' first='Maximo' last='Adams'] | 2026 | Sierra Canyon (CA)

Adams is following the trend of prospects who can really stretch the floor in catch-and-shoot situations. The 6-foot-7 wing/forward has quick and fundamental shooting mechanics and his ability to be shot ready with his feet and base set, combined with his size, allow him to not be affected by defenders attempting to close-out. Adams finished with 16 points on 4-for-6 from three-point range.

[player_tooltip player_id='2610249' first='Oneal' last='Delancy'] | 2027 | Gibbs (FL)

Of all the players we watched Sunday night, I think only Daughtry rivaled Delancy for quickest release. The ball was a blur from catch to release for 6-foot-3 shooting guard and his ability to be accurate, without his body being fully square to the basket, lmited the defense's ability to impact his shot with a close-out. Delancy finished with 22 points Sunday night, including 8-for-10 from three-point range.
