This week I attended the prestigious Pangos All American Camp at Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas for three days (Sun-Tues). It had immense competition from all over the country with players from Rhode Island to Los Angeles and many states in between.

There were 12 players who attended the event locally. 7 actually made the Top-60 game and one was the Co-MVP ([player_tooltip player_id='2144878' first='Jacob' last='Williford']) of the game, so AZ was well represented.

The bigger guard had it all going on in the Top-60 game. But he was really consistent throughout the three days. He scores with catch threes, and gets hot quickly, mid-range jumpers off the dribble and step thrus. He also had a nasty poster dunk in one of the games that set the room into a frenzy. The Co-MVP of the Top-60 made a name for himself there.

The taller wing forward scores it with mid-range jumpers with very high elevation making it difficult to defend. He hits the three off the catch and he was one of the top dunkers at the camp with some nice put back dunks. He shows plus body control in the air and gets to the free throw line off of his glass work.

[player_tooltip player_id='2211004' first='Rokiem' last='Green'] Bella Vista Prep

A true two-way guard played some on or off the ball. He is very crafty with the pick and roll game and will rise up and hit the three. He can also make threes off the catch and takes contact well with his frame. He is very good on the ball defensively with a plus wingspan and his impressive lateral quickness.

[player_tooltip player_id='2198867' first='Lucas' last='Toukam'] Bella Vista Prep

A twitchy power forward with insane length. He will score it any way with rolls to the basket, quick dunks, crossovers into a rip thru, post ups inside and goes to work, catch threes and he is incredible on the break with layups or dunks. He is also a good passer out of the high post and faster for position than most.

[player_tooltip player_id='2877148' first='Tahir' last='Mahamat'] Bella Vista Prep

Another newcomer is a tad raw but a true post player with a great frame/build. He has the proper girth with long, strong arms to grab every rebound in his area with two-hands. He usually scores with dunks or tip-ins but he is trying to include a drop step into his repertoire as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2574801' first='Walter' last='Onyekwelle'] Bella Vista Prep

An active big man is very fluid from end to end. He runs the floor gracefully and rebounds the ball well at a high clip in and out of his area. He is very efficient and effective inside and knows who he is. He is slowly getting better and better.

[player_tooltip player_id='2278688' first='Precious' last='Sam'] AZ Compass Prep

Another post player with legit size, length, athleticism, fluidity and plays with a motor. He scores with dunks, offensive rebound put backs, rim runs and hook shots with his dominant right hand.

[player_tooltip player_id='2564039' first='Aliou' last='Dioum'] Bella Vista Prep

A two-way post player with athleticism for days. He dunks the ball way above the rim like it's a nerf hoop and scores it around the rim plus will occasionally step out and hit the three. He makes his money on defense as he will defend the 1-5 in a pinch and block a ton of shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2875092' first='Cheikh' last='Biteye'] Bella Vista Prep

The newcomer from Senegal transferred in for this upcoming season. He was at Oak Hill Academy last year and looks to make a splash in AZ. He is your classic 3 and D type with some size for position and length. He scores with downhill drives, offensive rebound put backs, catch threes and he ripped multiple pockets that led to dunks. He is a sneaky good passer and a great defender in space.

[player_tooltip player_id='2563124' first='Bolaji' last='Oderinlo'] Bella Vista Prep

A forward who plays both positions up front is an athletic marvel. He flies on the break with incredible speed and grace. He plays way above the rim and springs up so quickly to dunk it or rebound. He will block shots in and out of his area and brings endless energy to the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='994689' first='Noah' last='George'] Bella Vista Prep

A good sized guard plays on or off the ball and shows he can handle the lead role. He is a good passer up the court with some ropes right to his running teammates. He smartly plays off of two-feet and he is a powerful dunker off of two-feet. He will score with pull-ups from mid-range off the dribble and transition layups with contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='2564445' first='Isaac' last='Gonda'] Bella Vista Prep

The skilled big man has elite size and a beautiful shooting touch from mid to the three point line. He handles the ball fairly well to create a little separation and will pull-up from mid-range. He is a plus rebounder who holds his ground well in the paint to defend.
