Last Friday I profiled Curry as “a player college coaches needed to watch” at the MHC Team Camp event and Curry made me look smart by pouring in 25 points in a win over Muhlenberg. Included in Curry's 25-point outburst was the game winning 3-ball that came off a beautifully executed SLOB play. In addition to draining triples from all over the court, Curry proved he can operate as a primary ball handler. In that role, he scored off the dribble, delivered well timed dimes to teammates and directed half-court sets. Curry also showed that he is a patient, high IQ prospect who is willing to make the extra pass. His transition scoring skills are an underrated facet of Curry's game.

Lundy is a speedy point guard who does a fantastic job of getting his teammates involved early in a game and then looking for his own scoring. Coaches at the college and NBA levels have often commented that is a trait of an elite floor general. Lundy's quick burst and elusive handles got him into the paint where he executed drop passes to the dunker spot, kicked out to perimeter shooters, or slipped a dime to a cutting teammate. He also exceled a threading the needle on pick-n-roll passes. When he was looking to score, Lundy did so at all three levels in the half-court. He also grabbed rebounds and went coast-to-coast for a lay-in. Lundy's well-built frame and aggressive mind set enabled him to finish at the cup through contact.

Scott is well known as a quick burst, up-tempo, three-level scoring guard. However, what impressed the most about his performance in a win over DeMatha (MD) was that Lundy recognized that his teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1576722' first='Kingston' last='Wheatley'] had the hot hand (more on Wheatley in a minute) and then continually delivered him the rock in the right spots. Scott's live dribble passing on the fast break as well as in the half-court was remarkable. He also flashed the ability to deliver accurate skip passes to open shooters. Scott produced points by raining in threes from all around the arc. He also got to the rack in transition for creative finishes. College coaches need to stop sleeping on Scott and contact he immediately.

Wheatley recently received an offer from Merrimack and after his 31-point outburst in a win over DeMatha, I would expect that more offers will coming pouring in during June. Against DeMatha this athletic, hybrid-forward caught everyone by surprise when he popped 7 triples. Wheatley buried treys from all around the arc, including a couple over the top of double teams. In addition to displaying a much improved 3-point stroke, Wheatley thrived in the open court. Wheatley also proved he could slash to the basket for a catch and lay-in. On defense, Wheatley provided solid rim protection.
