Sincere Hudson: New Face on the Modesto Christian Campus

Sincere Hudson just transferred to Modesto Christian, and he's already showing why he's built to help lead them far next season. The powerful guard plays with force—he finishes through contact like it's personal. No one is bumping him off his line. If anything, he welcomes the physical play.

He's got a go-to spin move coming back to his right that's tough to stop. Defenders could know it's coming and still can't do anything about it. Add in clean footwork, a patient and deliberate approach, and you've got a guard who controls the tempo hisway.

Against Branson, he showed exactly what he's about when closing the game with 9 of Modesto Christian's last 13 points. When it got tight, he was very intentional about attacking the rim.

Will Corbrett: Crafty Lefty with a Balanced Attack

Will Corbrett put together a strong showing against Oakland Tech, finishing with 16 points and 5 assists in a well-rounded performance. The lefty guard showed poise and control, running the team while picking his spots to attack.

He's crafty with the ball in his hands, and being a three-level scorer, Corbett is good at mixing things up by keeping defenders guessing whether he's pulling up, driving, or dishing. Corbrett can knock down shots from the outside, but he is really dangerous when he gets into the paint. His footwork and his size make him tough to stop around the basket.

What stands out most is his feel for the game. He plays with poise and doesn't appear to get rattled. He's a natural scorer who can still get teammates involved and lead his team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2059727' first='Brandon' last='Woodards']: The Underrated Tech Guard

[player_tooltip player_id='2059727' first='Brandon' last='Woodards'], a 6'2” guard in the class of 2026, quietly stood out during the St. Mary's Team Camp. Playing for Oakland Tech, he didn't need to take over games with scoring—he made his presence felt in many other aspects of the game. Woodards was the ultimate glue guy. He played with pace, defended multiple positions, and constantly made winning plays. Whether it was diving for loose balls, helping on rotations, or pushing the tempo in transition, Brandon quietly impacted the game.

He's got good size for a guard and uses it well on defense, guarding just about anyone on the floor. On offense, he knows how to break down defenses and get into the paint, from there he's going to finish or draw a foul. He also penetrates to collapse defenders and find shooters for open threes. His game is unselfish, smart, and built for team success.

[player_tooltip player_id='1703093' first='Myles' last='Jones'] of Modesto Christian plays with a calm, steady pace that sets him apart. He never rushes—always under control—and he knows exactly when to pick his spots. Whether it was scoring or making the right pass, Jones came through whenever his team needed a play.

He's a true playmaker who can also shoot it. When he gets inside the arc, he draws a ton of attention—forcing defenses to collapse and opening up easy reads. His vision and feel for the game allow him to take full advantage of those moments, making the right decision more often than not.

What stood out most was his ability to share the floor with another ball-dominant guard. Jones didn't force anything; he just played his role, elevated his teammates, and still made a major impact.

[player_tooltip player_id='1703093' first='Myles' last='Jones'] is the kind of guard who makes winning plays, stays composed in big moments, and understands how to control the game. Jones is a true combo guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='2212735' first='NJ' last='Gray']: A Shifty Playmaker Who Controls the Game

2nd Tournament watching [player_tooltip player_id='2212735' first='NJ' last='Gray'] play and I was able to see a little more than before and had to write another piece.

[player_tooltip player_id='2212735' first='NJ' last='Gray'] plays with a pace and feel that's hard to guard. He has the ball on a string. With his handle and quickness, Gray can get wherever he wants on the court. I love how he's able to switch up his dribbling cadence that keeps defenders off balance and guessing. Even players with great handles operate with rhythm dribbles that defenders can time. Gray gets his shots off with ease, but what makes him special is the ability to create separation in tight spaces.

Once he gets into the paint, it's a problem. Gray can finish strong with either hand, through contact or around defenders, showing touch and body control at the rim. His ability to break defenders down and make something happen off the bounce is what makes him a constant threat. He plays like he's a piece of his game. With his size, skills, and quickness, he reminds me a lot of a player I watched a bunch of, Aaron Brooks.

Also, NJ isn't just an offensive weapon. He mixes it up well on the defensive end too. He competes, applies pressure, and makes the kind of hustle plays that can shift the momentum.
