Jersey Live kicked off on Friday with teams across the state competing this weekend. The 2027 class had a strong showing on Saturday with some prospects having monster performances. Here are the 2027 standouts from the second day of Jersey Live.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201968' first='Mekhi' last='Jean-Pierre'], 6'5 SF Arts

Jean-Pierre had a strong showing throughout Saturday as he showed his potential to impact the game at both ends of the floor. The 6'5 wing moved his feet on the defensive and and used his length to bother his man. Jean-Pierre showed the ability to push the ball well in transition and threw down a nice one-handed flush in the half court. He moved well without the ball in his hands and rarely forced shots in the half court. Jean-Pierre is a lanky wing prospect whose stock should continue to rise with his ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2202014' first='Rey' last='Weinseimer'], 6'1 PG Manasquan

Weinseimer was decisive throughout the day as he made plays at both ends. The 6'1 guard used his handle to get to his spot on the floor and didn't get sped up by on-ball pressure. Weinseimer shot the ball with confidence from behind the arc and was unafraid of drawing contact in the paint. He made smart decisions with the ball in his hands and worked hard on the defensive end. Weinseimer picked up his first D1 offer from Old Dominion on Saturday and his offer sheet should expand with more performances like he had on Saturday.

[player_tooltip player_id='1919209' first='Chris' last='Delgado'], 6'2 PG Cherry Hill East

Delgado put his game on display on Saturday as he showed his ability to run the offense. The 6'2 guard used his speed to put pressure on the defense in transition and used his handle to blow by his defender in the half court. Delgado finished nicely around the basket and threaded passes to his teammates in the half court. He showed the ability to play off the ball as well and used his quick hands to get deflections on the defensive end. Delgado is a speedy guard prospect whose ability to put pressure on the defense will help continue to raise his stock this summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2201960' first='Rashad' last='Robinson'], 6'3 CG Hudson Catholic

Robinson had a good showing for the Hawks at Jersey Live as he showed his ability to play on and off the ball. The 6'3 lefty used his explosiveness to blow by his defender off the bounce and finished well around the basket. Robinson ran the offense effectively as he rarely got sped up and found his teammates in the half court. He took big shots down the stretch of games and locked up on defensive towards the end of games. Robinson is a talented guard prospect who should continue to make plays at both ends of the floor throughout his junior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2344526' first='MJ' last='Jarrell'], 6'3 CG Morristown-Beard

Jarrell had a nice showing at Jersey Live on Saturday as he played under control throughout the the day. The 6'3 guard used his handle to get to his spot on the floor and finished well around the basket. Jarrell ran the offense at times for the Crimson and was able to find his open teammates in the half court. He showed the potential to defend multiple positions on the floor and moved well without the ball in his hands. Jarrell's ability to make plays with the ball in his hands will help his stock move up over the next couple of months.

Other Prospects to Know:
