-Probably my favorite find of the day, loved the inside-out versatility of Chwastyk as a stretch four that can really fill up the stat sheet. Chwastyk stuck open perimeter looks, showed off a nice set of hands around the basket to stick putbacks and grab rebounds, handles it well for his size, and flashed some upside as a passer. My favorite sequence came on a defensive rebound that he snagged to initiate the fastbreak before delivering a perfect whip pass with the right hand off the bounce to a streaking teammate at the opposite block. With an advanced skillset that touches several impact areas of the game, Chwastyk has some high-level upside as a rising sophomore prospect.

-Sabrick is the definition of substance over style, nothing flashy but was productive in his minutes off the bench for PVI. The sophomore wing proved his value as a guard that can space the floor for the Panthers (three made 3s vs NG) without needing touches to warm up the shooting stroke. He moves surprisingly well and provides value as a team defender that constantly fights to stay in front on the ball while remaining alert to backdoor cuts or lifts off of screens. Like the confidence and low-maintenance nature of his skillset this early on in his development.

-Needs to continue to improve his vertical pop but he's collecting his own misses well and finishing in traffic. Love his hands around the basket and how assertively he gets into his move before the defense can react. Was one of the bright points for the Purple Eagles in a rough offensive day, loved the fight that he played with under the basket to close out defensive possessions with tough rebounds in traffic as Gonzaga's sole big against a pretty talented DeMatha frontcourt.

-Newson turns corners and gets downhill quicker than any player that I've seen at his size this year. A dynamic athlete that uses long strides and an advanced bag of pivot moves around the basket, he had the most success against a pretty stacked Clinton Grace team that had several athletes to match up with him. His activity on the glass from the guard spot should continue to translate to the next level but I want to see his decision-making in tight spaces continue to improve to take advantage of the afore-mentioned athletic gifts.

-Counted out by some scouts and coaches due to his size, Hill continues to be extremely productive as the head of the snake for a deep OLMC group. Hill leverages his size and speed to throw his matchup off balance and get downhill even through the smallest of gaps in the defense. Once he's generated paint touches and distributed to teammates, he will usually find opportunities to reject ball screens to knock down perimeter looks from beyond the arc. Proving that he can be a lockdown POA defender while limiting fouls and turnovers will be key in winning over college coaches to his brand of basketball.

-Loved the flashes that we saw from Smith-Bey in this one in an expanded role for the Cadets this season. Smith-Bey's most encouraging plays were him stepping in to take and make open C+S looks from beyond the arc that he was hesitant to take during his freshman season. Already a dynamic athlete that plays a physical brand of on-ball defense regardless of how is offense is coming along, he should showcase his ability to guard 1-3 and do alright on switches onto forwards this season as SJC will likely toy with the lineups they use with the addition of several key pieces to their frontcourt.
