Of all of the prospects who played well in Week 1, many of them were backcourt players. Here are a few of note:

Alexander was the benefactor and beneficiary of a number of drive-and-kicks against Lansdale Catholic. He collapsed the defense of the dribble, scatting into the lane before zipping the ball back out to the open man. That quickness with the ball in his hands also got him to the free throw line. And when guys swung it his way on the perimeter, Alexander cashed in from deep. He was a catalyst on defense too, creating turnovers that allowed the Vikings to claw their way back into the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2426914' first='Kaden' last='Brown'] | 6'0 G 2026 Archbishop Ryan

New to the Raiders program, Brown was extremely potent off the catch versus Conrad. He took pitches/handoffs and turned them into layups and mid-range jumpers. He also moved the ball well to help set others up to score. The easy looks Brown got on offense allowed him to expend more energy on defense. He hustled for rebounds, pressured the ball, and generated fastbreaks. His instant synergy in Coach Zeglinski's system bodes well for the Raiders who look to return to the Palestra in 2026.

[player_tooltip player_id='2419608' first='Kam' last='Jackson'] | 5'10 G 2027 Bonner-Prendie

The jittery guard did his best to tilt the Dover defense Wednesday night, but the shots weren't falling in the first half. In the second, he was able to speed up their guards, baiting them into bad passes and rushed shots. Shifting the momentum in that manner made it easier for him to get to the paint and score and led to more open shots for teammates. His halfcourt and transition offense helped the Friars pull away in their comeback win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352458' first='Bryson' last='Lane'] | 6'2 G 2026 Howard

Lane did a little of everything in the big victory over Audenried on Wednesday. He knocked down a triple and got fouled on another before making all three free throws. His secondary playmaking and effort on the boards made the Wildcats offense fluid and helped a multitude of guys get on the scoreboard. Lane himself got out in transition for a dunk to put his final stamp on the game. Overall, he might be the biggest beneficiary of the team's new configuration because he has the skill and will to do a variety of things on the court.

Dominik Watson | 6'2 G 2026 Elkton

The Elks came out on top against Delcastle but not before Watson got loose from deep. To start the game, he stole the ball then walked into a pull-up three to set his intentions for the rest of the contest. Shortly after, he sank his second three-ball, this time while spotting up. Watson proceeded to do more of the same in the second half. His sustainable shot-making, impact on defense and poise will raise the floor for a retooled squad eager to take back the Upper Chesapeake Bay title.
