The Checkrock Summer Shootout is back and bigger than ever. With two sites and running four night per week through June, high school programs from DE, PA, NJ, and MD have come together to sharpen their mettle in preparing for the Live Period. Here are some prospects who showed out on Tuesday and Wednesday:

[player_tooltip player_id='2352456' first='Nick' last='Baysah'] | 5'10 G 2026 Howard

After being neck-and-neck with Universal Audenried for a half, Baysah put his thumb on the scales and tipped the game in Howard's favor. The unquestioned leader for the Wildcats won with his craft and his athleticism on both ends. He took defenders off the bounce, getting them off-balance in order to create space at the rim, in the mid-range, or for an assist to someone else. Baysah's sense of urgency extended to his play without the ball too as he blocked shots from behind and crashed the offensive glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='2569493' first='Kaden' last='Briscoe'] | 6'2 G 2026 MOT Charter

A known threat from deep, Briscoe applied pressure at the rim during the decisive victory over Liguori Academy on Tuesday night. First he exploited the defense on a backdoor cut. From there, Briscoe extended advantages and created some of his own to get to the cup. His ability to attack closeouts and move without the ball continued to produce easy off for MOT. So did the turnovers he forced on defense. These improved dimensions of his game will serve the Mustangs well this coming season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2876996' first='Wydeek' last='Collier'] | 6'7 F 2026 Concord

Collier seemingly came out of nowhere and loudly announced his presence on the local basketball scene. Committed to Rutgers University as an edge rusher on the gridiron, he dominated the paint as rim protector. Collier swatted some shots out of bounds and others he blocked then immediately got the rebound. His impact on the boards was even greater on offense, where used his long arms to clean up misses and put them back up for two points. Though Collier's future is brightest in football, he surely has potential on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='2364771' first='Vince' last='Evans III'] | 5'10 G 2026 Seaford

Seaford's game versus Odyssey Charter was never in doubt in part thanks to Evans III. A pitcher and outfielder in baseball, he drove to the basket with force before earning trips to the line or kicking the ball back out to a shooter. His simple-yet-effective basketball plays were accented by flashy ones. Evans III acrobatically finished above and knocked down the trey ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2398422' first='Korey' last='Francis'] | 6'3 G 2027 Bonner-Prendie

In the marquee matchup of the night, Francis provided the spark that helped the Friars comeback from an 18-6 halftime deficit. Even when shots weren't falling early, his defensive event creation kept Dover from pulling away. Then in the second, Francis upped the ante on defense with his steals and rebounds. Whether it was off of a turnover or a stop, he attacked the Senators before their halfcourt defense could get set. The highlight of the day was when he took a rebound coast-to-coast and threw down a monster dunk to punctuate the Friars comeback.

[player_tooltip player_id='2251711' first='Malik' last='Hughes'] | 6'6 F 2026 Archbishop Ryan

Hughes showcased every facet of his game as the Raiders jumped out to an early lead versus Conrad. He crashed the offensive glass, generating second-chance opportunities that he capitalized on himself. When others drove, Hughes subtly moved into open space and his teammates dropped the ball off to him for layups. His catch-and-shoot three fell too. And be complimented that well-rounded offensive game with shot-blocking on the other end to limit Conrad's scoring.
