[player_tooltip player_id='2133810' first='Ty' last='Cobb'] earned a Tennessee Tech offer, won Mr. Basketball, and captured the 3A State Championship all within a few March days. Nobody enjoyed a more successful stretch individually. Cobb is a name you are going to read about often on this website and it is because the guy can hoop. In one of those wonderful State Tournament wins Cobb took and made 14 free throws. He consistently puts defenders in compromised positions when he drives to the iron halo.

The next four 2027 PGs are all high skill guys: [player_tooltip player_id='2133797' first='Bryson' last='Wade'], [player_tooltip player_id='2236492' first='Kobi' last='Jackson'], [player_tooltip player_id='2278560' first='Bryce' last='Garnett'], [player_tooltip player_id='2283268' first='Greg' last='Spight'], [player_tooltip player_id='2417844' first='Collin' last='Robinson'].

A few 2027 point guards climbed up in this ranking update.

A rise occured for [player_tooltip player_id='2624485' first='RJ' last='Tate']. [player_tooltip player_id='2624485' first='RJ' last='Tate'] (Arlington) is enjoying a strong AAU season with [program_tooltip program_id='2078772' first='Team' last='Thad'] 16u. Though Tate might be a two-guard he is undeniably a skilled, young guard. Arlington High looks to be a program on the rise with Tate and forward/guard [player_tooltip player_id='2784747' first='Rod' last='Lucas'].

[player_tooltip player_id='2361785' first='Jalen' last='Chapman'] (Springfield) climbed a few spots. He is up to 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds making him one of the bigger true point guards in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='2207470' first='Kohl' last='Ward'] (Tyner Academy) hopped a bit. He paired with Rodney Henderson III for a school-best run to the State Semifinals in March. Kohl started for both his freshman and sophomore seasons. Kohl's dad played college football for Chattanooga and starred in football at Brainerd High while also playing basketball and track.

Athletic guard [player_tooltip player_id='2621438' first='Ayden' last='Glenn'] neared the Top 50. He will get more shine as C.P.A. enjoys another step back toward prominence. They graduated a program icon (Gunnar Lewis) leaving a lot of touches available for Glenn and fellow guards.
