It has been a few months since our last refresh of the 2026 SoCal rankings and with plenty of viewing opportunities under our belt - from club events to scholastic high school events - we put together a big update to the rising senior class order. Below we take a closer look at prospects who raised their stock and are ranked in the Top 25.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956480' first='Maximo' last='Adams'] | Sierra Canyon | Old Rank: 11, New Rank: 5

Adams' stock is soaring after he put together a productive spring and summer to this point. The 6-foot-6 wing has shown an elite combination of motor, athleticism and physicality that result in him being a consistent double-double threat each time he takes the floor. Adams has picked up a handful of high major offers over the last few weeks and his offensive skill-set, complete with catch and shoot three's, off-dribble attacks and strong finishes and a dedication to the offensive glass, is what makes him such a valuable 2026 target.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956483' first='Zachary' last='White'] | SO Notre Dame | Old Rank: 13, New Rank: 10

White was the beneficiary of a small but significant bump that landed him in the Top 10. The 6-foot-5 wing is one of the best all-around defensive players in the class as his combination of length and lateral, linear and explosive athleticism allow him to guard 1 through 5 at the high school level. White's versatility on the defensive end doesn't end with his on-ball defense as he's shown to be a viable rim protector, rebounder in and out of his area and a vocal communicator. Offensively, White is best as a transition slasher and second-chance opportunist on the offensive glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='2425762' first='Josh' last='Irving'] | Pasadena | Old Rank: 20, New Rank: 15

Irving jumped up five spots to No. 15 and has the potential to outplay this new ranking as he continues to develop. The 6-foot-10 center has what few other prospects in this class have: elite size, length, mobility and vertical athleticism. Irving is one of the most effective rim protectors in the state as his presence in the paint results in shots altered, deterred and blocked. The rising senior has a workable offensive skill-set with his ability to finish at the rim with transition rim-runs, lobs out of ball screen action and dunker spot drop off passes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2622334' first='David' last='Abisogun'] | Fairmont Prep | Old Rank: 71, New Rank: 18

Abisogun was one of the driving forces behind Fairmont Prep's successful season that resulted in the Huskies winning the CIF Southern Section Division 2AA championship and that was a major reason why he made such a large jump in the rankings. The 6-foot-8 center impresses with his high motor, physical brand of basketball on the interior on both ends of the floor and has a budding offensive skill-set highlighted by his throwback back to the basket feel and soft touch around the rim. Abisogun is also an impactful positional and team defensive player who executes ball screen coverages, controls the defensive boards and works hard to disrupt ball screen offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2131798' first='Jonas' last='Oware'] | Long Beach Poly | Old Rank: 42, New Rank: 20

Oware was one of the biggest stock-risers of this update as he rose 22 spots and landed in the Top 20. The 6-foot-9 center has great mobility in transition offense and on the defensive end when plugging ball screens and containing guards or using his verticality to contest shots around the rim. Oware's combination of size, skill, defensive instincts and versatile athleticism make him an intriguing prospect in the mold of a modern big man.
