What players have made a high level big push through the winter and into the spring? Here are those names!

[player_tooltip player_id='2118833' first='Kevin' last='Kemp'] of Eagan/[program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select']. Kemp was a nice piece for Eagan giving them size and four-five buckets a board, rebounding, and post size. But this spring he's looked stronger with more bounce and his consistency has really improved. Kemp is now one of the top big man prospects in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='2100912' first='Stephen' last='McGee'] of Greenway/[program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets']. McGee has been put in a position by the Comets to rebound, defend the paint, and finish in the paint. That's the main ask and he is doing it regularly, and now colleges are getting interested. McGee's size, length, and agility are rare things at this level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2120492' first='Ethan' last='Miller'] of Zumbrota-Mazeppa/[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] DeLo. Miller caught attention of opposing 16u coaches last year but it was the Expo camp where schools and others really became aware of his name. This winter Ethan rebounded, scored inside, but showed face-up game and that has continued.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560744' first='Evan' last='Miller'] of DeLaSalle/[program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley']. Miller is regular in the top five for Pulley, he is a regular in the top five for the Islanders who were at state again, and he plays a consistent role for both of these high ranking teams. That type of consistent play at a skilled 6'5 led to a Minot State offer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560865' first='Nolan' last='Myren'] of Spring Lake Park/[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] DeLo. Myren has become one of the more respected wing scorers in this class. His jump to a 20 point per game guy made Spring Lake Park tougher than expected and it's helped make Fury DeLo a top ten team in 17u.

[player_tooltip player_id='2119593' first='Lars' last='Osteraas'] of St. Thomas/[program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Reyes. The value of Osteraas was first captured when Fury Reyes won games in bulk at 16u and he was regularly all event honored. That has continued at 17u and a team like CSP has been following everything he does.

[player_tooltip player_id='2381759' first='Reggie' last='Parker'] of Rochester Mayo/Lace Up. Parker has been somewhat similar to Kemp in that he had a solid winter for a good team, but his play this spring has elevated in a big way. Parker is a strong and explosive frontcourt player that just loves aggressive finishes as a part of his double-doubles. NSIC schools are coming his way.

[player_tooltip player_id='2121332' first='Deron' last='Russell'] of Waseca/[program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select']. While I get that Deron will play football at NDSU, he will still enter the winter as a top ten level Mr. Basketball candidate. Russell's amazing state tournament push to the finals and then following that up with elevating Select has been eye opening. One of the toughest players to defend in the state.

[player_tooltip player_id='2120491' first='Graham' last='Sanneh'] of East Ridge/Hoop Habits. Sanneh has face-up skill, the wanted size and he gets up and down well. What he needed was consistency and between playing with Hoop Habits, with East Ridge in the June high school events, and at MBCA, Graham has surely showed more consistency. With that will come more college opportunity.

[player_tooltip player_id='2118495' first='Talan' last='Witt'] of Alexandria/[program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets']. Witt was a key figure for the state champions scoring consistently and hitting 45 percent of his threes. With the Comets what we have seen is what kind of athlete he is and when you package that with the shooting and combo guard play, you have a multiple offered D2 guy.
