Nicholas Schubkegal ([program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown'] 16U)

This Hinsdale Central 2027 post put his name on our radar with a nice performance on the first night. The 6'6” post has broad shoulders and good mobility. Played well through contact at the rim along with being able to shoot it draining a three. Good area rebounder that is a solid athlete.

AJ Torres ([program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown'] 16U)

This 6'0” point guard from York put his name on the map as a scrappy point guard that had a good passing feel. Won off the dribble on straight line takes and mixed in some jumpers.

Will Sherman ([program_tooltip program_id='2075386' first='Chicago' last='Lockdown'] 16U)

Another York product this shooting guard was creative off the bounce with spinning layups, give and goes, along with and-1 conversions. Also knocked in a three in the game we saw.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125574' first='Aaron' last='Masoncup'] (Big 3 16U)

This 6'3” shooting guard from Geneva popped on Friday with his shot making from three, runner game, and throwing several bullet passes on the money.

Jayden Lovelady (Illinois Stars 17/16U)

Lovelady is a rangy guard that was a solid shot maker hitting a pair of triples in the game we saw. Lengthy wing that is active on the defensive end being able to get steals and turn them into points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2425702' first='Magnus' last='Johnson'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078448' first='Illinois' last='Wolves'] 16U)

Johnson put his name on our radar as a 6'6” floor stretching power forward. Nice frame and long arms. Showed he could knock down shots with confidence from distance.

[player_tooltip player_id='2839879' first='Timmy' last='Sloan'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2076459' first='Breakaway' last=''] 16U)

Sloan was one of the more impressive new names we found over the weekend. He is a big combo guard at 6'4” who played mostly on the ball. The Lyons Township guard was the one doing most of the damage setting up his teammates with dimes for threes. Plays well around ball screens, tight handles, and makes excellent decisions with the rock. A lot of intriguing qualities here.

Reed Murtos (Powerhouse 2 16U)

Murtos popped on our radar on Friday night. The Evanston 6'3” shooting guard is a plus three point shooter spotting up and off the catch. Quick and concise release on his shot. Also mixed in several slashes including a nice baseline take.
