[player_tooltip player_id='2812190' first='Lucas' last='Gavenda'] (pictured above) utilized his size and athleticism to score inside for the Trojans last night. He made strong moves towards the rack and elevated to get his shot off from there. I also saw him go coast to coast to score one of his baskets. In addition to his scoring, Gavenda was collecting boards on both ends of the court.

It looks as though Jacory Boyce will be the new lead guard for the Wildcats. He is jittery on both ends of the court and I'm a fan of the way he competes. I also noticed him getting creative with the rock to both score and distribute. His quickness helped him elude defenders, and he can make difficult finishes. As a defender, Boyce constantly pestered his opponents and made them work to gain ground.

[player_tooltip player_id='2047786' first='Kameron' last='Cooper'] was providing 3's and defense for the Gaels last night. He got open by moving off ball, and once he received the rock he let it go with a ton of confidence. On defense, Cooper was relentless and he had a big block. His efforts also helped Bishop Gorman secure the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='2642334' first='Jalen' last='Parker'] did it all for the Patriots yesterday. He was burying 3's, attacking the rim, and getting to the free throw line. Although the defense gave him a good amount of attention, he still found ways to get his shots off. Despite the loss, I liked what I saw from him.

[player_tooltip player_id='2374248' first='Dashaun' last='Harris'] put on a show on Thursday night and was scoring from all 3 levels for the Blue Knights. He consistently got to his spots and let it go with confidence. I was also a fan of how he was fighting for offensive rebounds. Which led to him scoring some second chance points. On the defensive end, Harris force opponents to take tough shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='1895435' first='Dashel' last='Wiley'] used his long strides to make a nice baseline drive yesterday, from there he got up and finished. Wiley was also scoring in the paint, and drew contact on a few of his takes. On defense, Wiley protected the rim and I saw he him swat a shot at the end of the first half.

[player_tooltip player_id='1965271' first='Hudson' last='Dannels'] impressed me with his sharp shooting from beyond the arc in both games that I watched him play. He was splashing in 3's near the top of key and from the corners as well. I also noticed him gain position inside, and score a few points in the paint in the Liberty game. All in all, it was a solid day at the office for Dannels.
