Shane’s Top Prospects – Run-n-Slam

He can create for himself with his good change of direction. He had some great fluid movement that is impressive to watch for his size. The jumper comes off his hands nice and smooth, if it hits the rim, it lands softly. He has long arms that he uses to apply pressure and make ball handlers feel uncomfortable. He is a good athlete.  He showed a good ability to maneuver, weave through the lane, and finish. He needs to become a little more comfortable with creating for himself on the wing but he showed good decision-making. He never forced anything and when he did attack, it was open, and scored it. He is a very strong guard who bullies his way to the rim. He was in constant attack mode and did not settle for anything. He did this because no one could stop him from getting to the rim. He finished well with contact and in traffic. He is best in transition and beating defenders to the rim. He passes the eye test with his good build and length for a guard. Most others cannot match his size already and then he has some great skill. He can get to whatever spot on the floor he wants to, and I like his ability to always look for his open teammates. He understands that when he beats his defender someone in the help side is going to give his teammates too much space. He has a stretch-forward skillset that when he continues to get bigger, will really shine and take his game to the next level. He has good footwork and a smooth shot. He is ready to shoot and gets it off quick. He has a high motor and shows this off on the glass.
