Next on the agenda for Stomping Grounds is to hit the film room and work on developing all-tournament teams. The all-tournament teams will most likely only be for only the older divisions. The plan would be to have teams for the 15U, 16U, and 17U divisions.

By my eye and seeing him up live, Welch is probably in the 6'7” range and most definitely not at the 6'9” height that was listed on the roster. He still has great length with an impressive and athletic frame that is built for running the court and dunking the ball with authority with two hands at the rim. He was normally due for a couple of dunks a game. His motor was impressive and he has an overall profile that an NAIA program would love to work with to see how he pans-out by the time he's a college Junior or Senior.

Phillips was the main guard for the 14U champion Future Elite 14U-1 squad. His transition game is a major asset for the team and most likely wins them games in one to two possession games. When he gets at the rim, he's also an effective finisher that almost always gets it done and scores the rock. He was easily on a short list of top athletic guards in the 14U division.

Beau is with [program_tooltip program_id='2228190' first='TEAM' last='Warwick'] 16U-Knight. He's developing steadily with his frame. He's a linebacker in football and he sure looks like it. He's got a muscular frame with some solid size. His playing speed is noticeable and he gets downhill in a hurry. He's not going to shake and get a defender dancing off of the dribble, he more-so uses his speed and power to his right hand to get to his spots. He can pull-up and shoot a midrange jumper if he doens't get deep into the lane. Overall, Beau may be a next-level football recruit by my guess, but he can also compete against top competition on the basketball court because of his build and explosive speed on the basketball court.

Wheeldon had suffocating length and shot-blocking ability that made it tough for guards to get a clean look at the hoop. He was the last line of defense and was a bonafide rim-protector and shot-eraser for the 4-0 [program_tooltip program_id='2257226' first='Sanford' last='Sports Academy ND'] 17U White team. A team with a bunch of talented players around him, Wheeldon was the icing on the cake for the team to be a dominant force and the heavy favorites every game.

This was the first time I've seen Bo live and not on film. He's clearly a wing with length at 6'6”. I like the way he uses his length to defend on the perimeter. I didn't notice him pressuring the ball heavily, but he makes things difficult with his top percentile wingspan and how much space he can cover with his arms. He's not a dynamic offensive player as far as a creator off the dribble, but where his value comes from is his high percentage shooting and knockdown ability as a catch-and-shoot 3-point weapon. He shot it well from deep and I didn't see him miss many of his opportunities. Solid shot selection.

Kroll is slightly overshadowed on a [program_tooltip program_id='2337876' first='James' last='Valley Thunder'] 15U-Weber team with two top-10 ranked 2028 prospects playing alongside him. On most 15U teams he's probably most likely a second option at worst. I didn't notice any rare traits from Kroll, but he has a solid profile and he will have a solid upcoming ranking because he performs on the court and is consistently making winning and important plays. He had a few transition plays that were slightly eye-popping and was a reminder that he has game and skill in his own right.

Carter was easily the best athlete in the 13U division at Stomping Grounds. I've seen him online before the tournament, and this will most likely be the case in every tournament [program_tooltip program_id='2221115' first='Midwest' last='Kings'] 13U participates in. He's a lock to be a top 3 13U athlete when he's at a midwest AAU tournament. Elite movement and bounce that you almost never see from a 13U prospect.

I saw limited live reps of Bieber, but I saw him catch fire from 3-point range, making multiple in a row and getting the crowd going as well. Most of them were clean looks but you can tell he's an elite shooter regardless of competition. He had nice feet, bend, release, and great overall shot mechanics.

Boden's stock graph has been on a straight upward direction after every Prep Hoops tournament. He's playing like a man possessed with the ball and you would rather not be in his path when he gets going downhill. He's a different beast physically and with his attacking playstyle. I think he has class A all-state potential for Hamlin in the upcoming high school season.

Beltran was a new name to me and I didn't know him prior to Prep Hoops Brawl For The Ball tournament in Sioux Falls. He has been a bright spot for [program_tooltip program_id='2832803' first='Impact' last=''] 17U this offseason. He's not a go-to offensive creator and scorer, but he does own his role as a knockdown shooter that takes open jumpers and has been shooting a good percentage. He provides solid effort, defensive attentiveness, and him playing his role so well ignites the team, in my opinion.
