About Carter
Expert Analysis
Spencer Christenson | Prep Hoops Scout
Carter may be the most valuable to his team — the Midwest Kings 13U-1 — compared to all 13U players and their importance to their respective teams. Elite athlete with uncommon explosiveness at his age.

Carter was easily the best athlete in the 13U division at Stomping Grounds. I’ve seen him online before the tournament, and this will most likely be the case in every tournament Midwest Kings 13U participates in. He’s a lock to be a top 3 13U athlete when he’s at a midwest AAU tournament. Elite movement and bounce that you almost never see from a 13U prospect.

Midwest Kings ‘ top 13U team went 4-0 and took the Silver Championship trophy. Eveland had a lot to do with the Kings’ success at Twin Cities Takedown. For me, it all starts with his elite fluidity and movement on the court. He can anticipate and react so quickly and smoothly, with superior movement skills in all directions and facets. He flies around defensively, leaving his feet to make a play on the ball. Disrupts offensive gameplans and flow with his defensive style and ability. Best defensive and defensive playmaking guard in the 13U division. Has elite bounce and plays fast and fluid in transition on offense. To me, he’s a 2-guard that can board-and-go and push the pace at an elite level. Can get to his spots on offense with his quickness and fluidity. I didn’t see Carter live, but he turned out to be my favorite guard throughout the entire tournament and divisions.
