May is always an interesting month in the recruiting world, and this year has proven to be no different.

In New England, we've seen a high number of prospects come off the board in just the last few weeks, wrapping up their recruitments with pledges and answers on what's to come next for their basketball careers.

Below are 10 prospects that recently announced their college commitments.

[player_tooltip player_id='2547120' first='Sincere' last='Monroe']

Monroe, a guard out of Windsor Locks, came off the board recently with a commitment to Curry College. A dynamic scorer, he does a nice job of finishing creatively around the rim, but excels with his ability to create space in isolation situations and score from behind the arc or in the mid-range. He's shifty with the ball in his hands and does a nice job of finding his teammates in positions to score. Defensively, he moves well laterally and can really guard the ball in space.

[player_tooltip player_id='2639678' first='Javelle' last='Epps']

Epps, a wing out of Putnam Science Academy, announced his future plans with a pledge to the University of Bridgeport. A big wing, he has the ability to impact games on the offensive end of the floor with his versatility. He can knock down shots in catch and shoot situations, is effective as a paint scorer when slashing to the rim, and can really get out and score in transition. Defensively, he can guard up and down a position, while also doing a nice job as a rebounder.

[player_tooltip player_id='2546813' first='Max' last='Shosa']

Shosa, a wing out of Premier Prep, put an end to his recruitment when he announced that he'll attend Dean College. A big, versatile guard, he has the ability to fill up a stat sheet. He makes shots at all three levels, has the athleticism needed to rise up and finish with authority in traffic, and shows some real playmaking ability off the bounce. He can operate as a rebounder to pusher in transition, defends both on the perimeter and in the paint, and can rebound in space and in traffic.

Jacob Wang

Wang, a wing out of Putnam Science Academy, wrapped up his recruitment with a commitment to the University of Saint Joseph. A high IQ wing, he does a great job of thinking the game and repeatedly makes the right decision with the basketball in his hands. He leverages his shooting to open up driving lanes and can really knock down shots in catch and shoot situations. On the other end of the floor, he can guard multiple positions and makes plays in passing lanes.

Nico Pena

Pena, a guard out of Putnam Science Academy, finalized his plans for next year when he announced that he'll attend Monroe University. He has a bigger frame that he utilizes to his advantage when playing through contact and as a finisher around the rim. His best attribute is his ability to knock down shots from behind the arc, in catch and shoot situations and on the move. He has deep range on his jumper and a quick release, allowing him to get his shot off at any time.

[player_tooltip player_id='2693556' first='Ashton' last='Reynolds']

Reynolds, a guard out of Williston Northampton, put a bow on his recruitment with a commitment to Central Connecticut State University. An elite athlete on the perimeter, he used his post-grad year to prove that he was a multi-level scorer and versatile defender. His physical gifts stand out every time he takes the floor, as he's long, quick, and agile. He continues to improve as a perimeter shooter and also shows the ability to be a defensive stopper.

[player_tooltip player_id='1213554' first='Brandon' last='Benjamin']

Benjamin, a forward out of St. Thomas More School, came off the board when he announced that he'll attend Fairfield University. He has terrific positional size, terrific length, and the agility needed to make plays in the paint and on the perimeter. He's a threat to get a double-double any time he takes the floor, making plays with a high motor on the glass and the ability to finish with touch around the rim. He can operate as a roller or pop guy out of ball screens.

Dantae Clarke

Clarke, a forward out of Bridgton Academy, announced his plans for the next level with a commitment to Quincy College. At 6'9" with great length, he has the ability to make plays around the rim on both ends of the floor. He'll need to add strength to reach his ceiling, but he already impresses with his motor, ability to run the floor in transition, and his mobility on the defensive end of the floor. He's a good shot blocker, can finish with either hand in the paint, and rolls hard out of ball screens.

[player_tooltip player_id='2396725' first='Samuel' last='Nosakhare']

Nosakhare, a forward out of Putnam Science Academy, ended his recruitment when he announced that he'll attend Quinnipiac University. One of the most athletic forwards in the region, he's a terror in the open floor and on the glass. He has a high ceiling defensively with his versatility, ability to guard in space, and timing and instincts as a shot blocker. Offensively, he sets solid screens, cuts hard to the rim, and can finish with authority when he gets a head of steam.

[player_tooltip player_id='2325781' first='Ore' last='Odutayo']

Odutayo, a forward out of Williston Northampton, wrapped up his recruitment when he announced that he'll attend Iona College. Another elite athlete, he has a powerful frame and the skillset needed to operate as a playmaker with the ball in his hands. He's an ultra-versatile defender that can protect the rim, make plays in passing lanes, and rebounds at a high clip. Offensively, he should only continue to expand his game at the next level.

May is always an interesting month in the recruiting world, and this year has proven to be no different.
