Believe it or not, June basketball is just right around the corner which means we will be right back into high school play as summer kicks off. Spring AAU is in full swing right now, but that does not mean we cannot look ahead to June where we will see our in-state prospects get back with their respective high school squads for a full month. For the next few weeks, we will look at some players for each class and position group as I give you my personal watch list for the month of June. Of course, every player we have in the state is a must-watch, but here are four player in the 2028 class that you should focus on just a little bit more, part two.

You can make a strong case that [player_tooltip player_id='2617833' first='Ishmael' last='Kiteka'] is the most intriguing prospect in the instate class of 2028. The 6-foot-9 center come from Cloverdale High School and have some legit physical tools that make gain interest in him when he steps onto the floor. Kiteka is very consistent around the basket using his size and rebounds his area well on both end while also improving his overall mobility as well. June is going to be a big month for him as more people get eyes on him.

One of the top wing prospects in the instate 2028 class comes from Bisop Luers High School in Fort Wayne. [player_tooltip player_id='2424067' first='Jayden' last='Moore'] is a 6-foot-2 wing that has physical and athletic tools on the perimeter that showcases his high upside as a player. Last season he got a little bit of varsity action but is expected to get a lot more of a role starting in June. He is one of the more exciting long term prospects we have in this class.

A lead guard that is starting to earn a bit more notice in the 2028 class is Portage High School's [player_tooltip player_id='2538890' first='Bryce' last='Kobe']. He is one of the few 2028 prospects that got valuable varsity minutes earning 16.9 minutes per game while also contributing 5.5 points as well. At 6-foot-1, Kobe has athleticism he likes to use on the ball while also having a smooth, left-handed jumper as well. He is a guy we at Prep Hoops Indiana think could make one of the bigger leaps this summer.

The younger players that are running with [program_tooltip program_id='2699181' first='Indiana' last='Game UA Rise'] have a strong spring and one of those guys is 6-foot-2 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2553675' first='Parker' last='Smith']. Smith comes from Fairfield High School with good length both on and off the ball. Another 2028 prospect that has high athletic skills and overall versatile skillset as a scorer and defender. He is becoming a stock-riser in the instate 2028 class and is a guy to watch come June and beyond.
