Believe it or not, June basketball is just right around the corner which means we will be right back into high school play as summer kicks off. Spring AAU is in full swing right now, but that does not mean we cannot look ahead to June where we will see our in-state prospects get back with their respective high school squads for a full month. For the next few weeks, we will look at some players for each class and position group as I give you my personal watch list for the month of June. Of course, every player we have in the state is a must-watch, but here are four shooting guards in the 2026 class that you should focus on just a little bit more.

Lawrence North is going to have some holes to fill as far as production next season and one of the guys with a major opportunity to be one of the players to step up is 2026 shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2252744' first='Duke' last='Karnes']. The 6-foot-2 wing came to Lawrence North last season and was able carve out a role as their primary spot up shooter through the season. By all accounts, he has had a really strong spring with [program_tooltip program_id='2082760' first='Reps317' last=''] thus far scoring in high bunches from deep, which he is smooth about doing. Lawrence North is going to be one of the more interesting teams to watch in June, and Karnes could be a guy to turns some heads with a more important role.

Fishers brings back a good amount of production from last season but are still going to have a bunch of holes to fill as well. There has already been some names that will fill some of those big gaps, but one player that you may not know that is going to have a more prominent role for the Tigers is shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2472279' first='Tommy' last='Williams']. The 6-foot-1 athletic wing is already one of the top under-the-radar names we have in the state and has been slowly rising as a prospect to watch this spring with the Indiana Basketball Club. Williams has length and high defensive efforts that make him standout and will be able to provide that for Fishers next season. He is going to be one to watch in June.

The in-state 2026 class is filled with some high level under-the-radar shooting guards and one that is easily near the top of that list is Goshen's [player_tooltip player_id='2837828' first='Levi' last='Sawatzky']. With great size at 6-foot-3, Sawatzky is one of the best true combo guards we have in the state for his age group. He has been running with [program_tooltip program_id='2228160' first='OPS' last='']-UA Rise this spring and is continuing to build off his strong junior season that saw him lead Goshen with 18.2 points a game. What he can do off of dribble as a creator, paired with his catch and shoot ability, makes him an interesting prospect to follow when June roles around.

A in-state 2026 shooting guard with about as much high upside as anyone in his age group is [player_tooltip player_id='2471408' first='Sherman' last='Moss-Wright'] out of Ben Davis High School. Last season, the 6-foot-4 SG appeared in 26 games for the Giants averaging 7.0 ppg and 3.0 rpg, as well. This spring, he has been running with a loaded Indiana Basketball Club 2026 squad showcasing his shot-creating ability both on and off the ball. He has the physical tools in the backcourt to make coaches notice him and his excellent play pairs well with it. June could be a breakout month for the rising 2026 prospect.
