How more DI programs are not contacting this kid is a mystery to us. At the Spring Jam Fest Dennis proved again that he is a multi-skilled prospect with a jumper that is automatic from the baseline to the elbows to beyond the 3-point line. His ability to shoot after using pump fake and then a side dribble to find open space is fantastic. This stretch-4 prospect also excelled at popping trail threes. Additionally, Dennis used his size and footwork to score over defenders on dives to the cup as well as block to block flashes.

Gettinger is a multi-skilled prospect who can play as a small forward, point guard or stretch-4. The first thing that popped about Gettinger's skills set is that he did a fantastic job of creating off the dribble for himself and teammates. In fact, the dribble pull-up skills he displayed at the Spring Jam Fest were remarkable. When defenders sagged off him, Gettinger splashed threes from all around the arc. Plus, Gettinger displayed the size and tenacity to compete on the offensive glass for second chance points. His court awareness combined with his instinctive off-ball movements produced a slew cuts and dives to the rack that led to easy lay-ins. Gettinger also caught opponents by surprise with his quick burst and leaping ability.

On Saturday against the Excel Cardinals, Hopkins posted an impressive 20 points and 10 rebounds performance. That double-double at the Spring Jam Fest was just the latest chapter in a monster spring grassroots season for Hopkins. This past weekend, Hopkins averaged 14.7 points er contest. He proved once again that he can score off the dribble or by slashing to the basket for a catch and lay-in. His length, nose for the ball and quick second jump enabled Hopkins to repeatedly crash the offensive glass for put backs and dunks. With his speed, agility and finishing skills, Hopkins also excelled in the open court. His efforts at the defensive end were impressive too. Hopkins' wingspan and active hands generated a host of steals.

The “[player_tooltip player_id='1888855' first='Jordan' last='Shaffer'] Tour” continued this past weekend at Spooky Nook as Shaffer drained 6 threes on his way to 22 points against BTI HGSL. When he was not splashing threes over defenders and at times double teams, Shaffer worked as a primary ball handler. He patiently directed half-court sets and pushed the rock in transition for scores as well as assists. College coaches will love the fact that Shaffer competed on the boards all weekend. His size and positioning skills make Shaffer a plus rebounder at both ends. His ability to grab a defensive rebound and the go coast-to-coast is unique.
