Here are my top 17U post prospects from this past weekend's Grit Region Finals.

Jaden Hardiman Jay Academy 6'6 (WI) '26

Jaden is an athletic forward who made some highlights over the weekend. In the evening games on Saturday Hardiman started a dunk show. He caught lobs off the glass and made acrobatic dunks off fastbreaks opportunities. On defense he high-pointed some rebounds and blocked quite a few shots out of bounds. A natural athlete on the court.

[player_tooltip player_id='2105376' first='Colin' last='Stack'] [program_tooltip program_id='2078374' first='Full' last='Package'] 7'0 (IL) '26

One of the top bigs in the state of Illinois didn't disappoint at Grit Finals. He controlled the paint on both sides of the ball. Kept things simple on offense and detoured a lot of shots on defense. Stack has shown progress each time I've seen him play this spring. The mobility is there and the ability to make shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2553540' first='Bryce' last='Poe'] [program_tooltip program_id='2539820' first='The' last='Academy'] 6'5 (MI) '26

Poe was one of the most efficient players I caught this weekend. He's a smaller post player who has great footwork and very good hands around the rim. Bryce was one of the very few bigs who knew how to seal guys in the paint and just score right over defenders. On the defensive side, he rebounded well and made a couple of blocks without having to leave his feet much. I was impressed with how well he played.

[player_tooltip player_id='2844402' first='Arnez' last='Jones'] [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'] 6'5 (IL) '26

Jones is an athletic and physical forward who can play inside and out. He scores well in and around the paint. One of his better plays from the weekend was a drive on the baseline that he dunked on a play contesting him. Arnez can shoot and will make a couple from mid-range and behind the three-point line. He's a talent to watch out for in the Chicagoland area.

Logan Peters Indy Nets BC 6'8 (IN) '26

Peters is a fundamentally sound big man who held his own this weekend. He was tough on the glass and scored some big buckets when his team went on a dry shooting spell. Logan kept things simple and scored most of his points from the offensive rebounds. He's a throwback type of big man who holds his ground in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2323326' first='Jordan' last='Shaw'] Work Foundation 6'5 (IL) 26

Shaw is a physical forward who plays hard on both ends. He is a rim runner who is known to set hard screens and finish layups around the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='2830671' first='Jazire' last='Mcduffy'] 2 Face Elite 6'2 (IA) '26

Maybe one of the smallest post players who didn't have much of an issue scoring in the paint. Jazire plays with a lot of aggression and strength around the basket so it wasn't an issue when he faced taller players. Mcduffy uses his body to initiate contact first before elevating up to score.
