Friday night consisted of the introduction of what yet is to come over the next two days. One of the top bigs I've seen this spring. Great mobility with quickness at his size. Made a dribble handoff to a guard and then immediately cut to the rim in open space for retrieval and finish. Likes to get on the glass. Really hard to contain with his size and physicality. Presents a big challenge down low in the paint. Will pin down screen and then immediately post with defender on his back. After the catch will hold and make kickouts to guards. Sees the floor well. Can spot up for 3 or get to the hole. Really showed a lot of skill in what he can do around the rim as far as rebounding, finishing, battling, and playing with physicality and confidence down low. Easily had a double double with points and rebounds. Collected quite a few boards off the offensive end for second chance opportunities. Smart enough to tip pass off a miss to his teammates for a quick bucket. Knows how to post up and make a move off the dribble with his back to the basket. Had a game high 23 points to end Friday night's action. Has an old school Demar DeRozan feel to his game. Liked how he got to his spots in the open area of the floor off the dribble to create his own space or utilizing screens. Really hard to guard coming off screening actions with the ball. Can shoot it from mid range or beyond the arc at a high clip. Will get up and guard man to man and plays with some passion.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
