Day 2 of the Bash in the Desert picked up right where Day 1 left off - packed with high-level talent, intense match ups, and standout performances across the board. The gym stayed hot with energy and competition all day long. Here's a look at some of the standout players who made their mark on Day 2.    Has the ball on a string and plays with great control. A skilled shot-maker who can knock it down off the dribble or the catch. Scored it at all three levels — with threes, mid-range pull-ups, and aggressive downhill attacks. Showed a smooth set of speed changes that kept defenders off balance and created separation with ease.     Plays with a tight handle and a quick release from three, capable of scoring off the dribble or the catch. Relocates well off the ball and understands how to find space within the offense. Scrappy on the defensive end, bringing toughness and effort. Showed great vision in the open court and has a quick burst that allows him to blow by defenders and create opportunities.     A blur in transition with a crafty handle and great feel for the game. A speedy guard who put constant pressure on defenses, especially in the open floor. Scored with a variety of acrobatic finishes at the rim and consistently absorbed contact while converting. Also showed he can be a lob threat in transition. Thrives in up-tempo settings and knows how to impact the game with both pace and poise.     A three-point specialist with a quick trigger and high release — easily the best shooter from deep I saw at the event. Got hot in a hurry, knocking down three or four straight from beyond the arc, including contested looks. Moves well without the ball and consistently relocates to open space, providing elite floor spacing. A confident shot taker and maker who can play on or off the ball. Also brought toughness on the defensive end, showing scrappiness and effort     A confident shot creator with a great feel for the game. Scored it at all three levels — knocking down pull-up mid-range jumpers, high-arcing floaters, and quick-release threes. A true floor spacer who keeps the defense honest. Handled the ball well, showed good change of speeds, and played with poise and control throughout.     A taller guard with a tight handle and great pace to his game. Made smart decisions in the half-court and played with a strong sense of control. Uses his size and physicality well, getting downhill and finishing through contact. Also showed versatility on the defensive end — can switch and guard multiple positions effectively.     A lanky guard with positional versatility — defended 1 through 3 effectively throughout the event. Handled the ball well and used his length and stride to get downhill. Finished with touch around the rim, showing floaters and athletic layups, and absorbed contact well on drives. A smooth attacker who brought two-way impact.     A scoring guard who showed the ability to put up points in multiple ways — knocking down catch-and-shoot threes, quick pull-up mid-range jumpers, and getting to the rim. Handled the ball with confidence and used change of speed effectively to break down defenders and get to his spots.
