I watched a bunch of games online from around the country for some of the circuit teams that I have not seen yet with EYBL, EYCL, UAA and 3SSB.

Here are some of the 2027 Guard standouts I viewed

[player_tooltip player_id='2365144' first='Cameron' last='Koehler'] Casteel ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] EYCL 16)

A bigger lead guard can play on or off the ball. He makes smart reads and sees over the top of the defense. He made a few impressive needle threaders. He can split defenders and then find a teammate or float it in.

[player_tooltip player_id='2295695' first='Matt' last='Crowder'] Casteel ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] EYCL 16) (Pictured)

A bigger scoring guard with some athleticism. He can hit the catch three and defend well. He can play a little on the ball and reads the court. He rebounds well for a guard using his strong frame and bounce and will score on put backs.

[player_tooltip player_id='2574805' first='Jaeden' last='Mahendrarajah'] Bella Vista Prep ([program_tooltip program_id='2867224' first='Phoenix' last='United'] EYCL 16)

A good sized combo guard plays the lead role well and makes smart decisions. He can hit the three off the catch or pull-up from mid to the three. He has some shift to his handle to get separation. He has quick hands to collect steals and will find a teammate in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='2146268' first='Brock' last='Knee'] Arcadia ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] UAA 16)

A scoring guard is another top-notch shooter with some size to go with. He has a clean stroke from the three point line and gets it off his hands quickly and can pull-up from mid-range. He sees the court well and plays the game from the neck up.

[player_tooltip player_id='2223522' first='Kolby' last='Barnes'] Perry ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] UAA 16)

A bigger point guard with length and feel who sets the table for his shooters. He has good court vision and he is a good bail out passer. He plays tough on-ball defense using his length and size. He will score getting downhill using euros and hit the three off the catch with space and time and come off of screens with mid-range pull-ups.

[player_tooltip player_id='2052370' first='Jackson' last='Harrison'] SCA ([program_tooltip program_id='2075793' first='Arizona' last='Select'] UAA 16)

One of the top shooters on 16U from the state. He squares up in a blink of an eye and lets it fly with high elevation and gets balanced like you should. He comes off of screens and elevators and he is always in shot ready mode. He can make a read for a teammate and he is a tough cover.

[player_tooltip player_id='2386958' first='Isaiah' last='Gill'] CDO (Apex Athletix 17U)

A pure point guard with next level court vision is playing well with the older team. He moves the ball like you should to the open man and it gets out of his hands quickly. He loves to touch the paint to score or he will hit the catch three. He is also very fast on the break to score ahead of the defense. His first step sets up his game to score or make a play.
