He is a playmaker and a true CG. He is a 6'4 player that seems to be a mismatch issue for smaller guards and when you sag off of him out beyond the arc he has a good looking jumper. Lyakine makes the extra pass and he is just smart out there on the floor. He makes quick easy moves and keeps things simple. Impressed with how he can find open players and put them in high quality scoring positions. He is nice in that mid-post area where he can use his quickness and when he makes those quick decisive moves he can get to the rim with ease. Tidwell finds ways to get his shot off and he is nice off the dribble. Often times he is shooting the ball beyond the arc and although it might look like he is off balance when he is shooting he does a good job of getting his shoulders square to the basket. Pugmire can hoop and he is a player that can play multiple positions but his sheer athleticism should make you look twice. He is smooth attacking the rim and can finish on both sides of the basket. He has great timing on his jumps when he is rebounding, defending and also on offense when they throw the ball up to him. Look for this spring to be a breakout time for him to improve his skills and get to be a 10 PPG type of a player. With his size and his mobility he could easily pick up a few points a quarter just hanging out by the rim.
