The grassroots circuit is certainly different than it used to be. Gone are the days of there just being a handful of teams from each state all converging to the same locations each weekend. Shoe circuits have led to taking the best teams all across the country while even at the local level there are multiple different events each weekend. For example, this weekend there were three different events within a 10 mile radius of the Noblesville/Fishers area. Then, about 30 miles west, there was a shoe circuit event in Lebanon. Of course, Prep Hoops Indiana had boots on the ground coverage all weekend long from all four events. We will continue cranking out content from the busy weekend over the next few day and now want to highlight some more prospects that really made their name known this weekend that we haven't gotten to talk about yet.

Dean's athleticism, strength, and length on the perimeter made him a very difficult matchup for opposing defenses. He was a big part of the [program_tooltip program_id='2129012' first='Circle' last='City Shooters'] 16u's overtime victory that we watched part of on Sunday afternoon. The Warren Central High School product brings two-way versatility on the wing, had success in transition, and finished at a high percentage at the end of his drives. He was certainly one of the standouts from what we were able to watch of this team over the weekend.

Hiteshew has had an excellent spring with LVL Up 17u and has specifically really shined as a catch-and-shoot threat from beyond the arc. The 6'4" guard finished the weekend with a 32-point performance that included five three-pointers to cap off an undefeated trip to Fishers for LVL Up. Combining that shooting ability with his positional size on the perimeter should draw some coaches in over the next several months.

If you need size in the Class of 2026 look no further than this Mishawaka Marian High School big man. Horvath is a massive 6'9" center who has noticeably trimmed down and gotten himself in better shape. He moves well on the block, rebounds his area well, and can be disruptive as a rim protector on the defensive end. Horvath had a productive weekend for [program_tooltip program_id='2814675' first='Indiana' last='Eclipse'] showcasing a soft touch when finishing at the rim. College coaches should get eyes on him next weekend in Fort Wayne at the Run N Slam.

A Top 5 prospect in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2028 Prospect Rankings, Leggett was very impressive in Progney UAA's loss to [program_tooltip program_id='2317250' first='Indiana' last='Elite 3SSB'] on Saturday afternoon. The 6'4" guard is so projectable as a primary playmaker. He has the obvious positional size, but simply does not get sped up when he has the ball in his hands. Leggett is a high-level processor, a great passer, and can create his own shot when needed. Despite the loss he was one of the prospects that really stood out in what was a very competitive game loaded with talent.

The [program_tooltip program_id='2129012' first='Circle' last='City Shooters'] 16u picked up an impressive overtime victory to cap off the weekend on Sunday. This 6'4" forward from Franklin Community stood out during the portion of the game that we were able to watch. McFerrin is a versatile offensive player that flashed some perimeter skill while also using his size against mismatches to score inside. His projectable, athletic frame paired with what he can do with the ball in his hands makes him an intriguing long-term prospect to remember.

Peters was one of the bright sports for Region Force 17u in their loss to [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] Pro16 17u on Friday night. The 6'2" guard from Crown Point High School has the requisite length and athleticism in the backcourt and was able to get downhill consistently. He makes good decisions with two feet in the paint and has enough athletic burst to rise up and score at the end of his drives. Peters is definitely one of the prospects that college coaches should keep an eye on for this Region Force team.

It doesn't take long to get excited about the upside of this Terre Haute North High School product. Renn really stood out when we were watching [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] Pro16u 16u on Friday night. The 6'5" guard is excellent with the ball in his hands. He can definitely be a secondary playmaker with the upside of becoming a true point guard. The athleticism and fluidity in the open floor pops. Whether he is slicing his way through the defense for a two-handed slam, pulling up for a jump shot, or getting into the passing lanes defensively he consistently finds ways to contribute.

Weber really caught our attention on Friday evening when watching [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] Pro16 16u play. The 6'6" left-handed forward flashes some really intriguing upside. He is a fluid athlete that is bouncy around the rim at both ends of the floor. The Hamilton Southeastern High School product was consistently active on the offensive glass and finished with his left hand over his right shoulder in the post. High-upside post prospect to watch in the Class of 2027.
