The grassroots season is officially underway and we hit the ground running on the Prep Hoops Circuit with “The Stage” at The Farmers Bank Fieldhouse in Lebanon. After three days in the gym, the Prep Hoops team got to see multiple prospects from many different states all in one roof. Through the weekend, I myself got to see multiple teams and was able to see many standouts. Here is part four of my standout list.

There were a few 16u players that I got the chance to watch over the weekend at The Stage, but I could make a strong case with myself that [player_tooltip player_id='2560632' first='Isaac' last='Garner'] may have been the one I was most impressed with. At a lanky 6'1, Garner was extremely productive on the floor when it came to rebounding and scoring off the ball via in the cutting lanes. His length was used very well on the defensive end and he showed his ability to knockdown the three ball as well. I like is potential as he develops more.

Baker was one one of the better floor generals that I watch at the 16u level. Started off the game with a couple of steals and really impressive 15ft jumpers that when in. Took pride on the defensive end which will always be a standout at any level. Overall, I like his ability to run an offense while making plays for himself and others. Impressive showing.

[player_tooltip player_id='2821667' first='Dylan' last='Bailey'] of Bloomington South High School was another floor general that I came away very impressed with at the 16u level. A super aggressive guard that loved to attack lanes and make smart passes. He was also a very strong rebounder as a guard and hit a couple of big time corner threes. Consistency is the next thing for Bailey in his development as a player.

[player_tooltip player_id='2825568' first='Aiden' last='Jones'] was easily one of the bigs that I came away most impressed with at The Stage. A true 6'5 prospect at the 16u level, Jones played well through contact and ran the floor great. Was the best rebounder on his team and defended the paint very well. I like his mobility and overall physical play as a big man.
