Nye played a major role as a facilitator for MXTE. His approach and decision making from the key area put his teammates in position to score. His height and awareness allowed him to find cutting teammates and draw help defenders off the dribble. Nye also was an impressive help defender as he walled up on shots and snagged down rebounds consistently.

Rinzel had his hands on some impact plays on day 1. The lengthy wing showed off his ability to shut down his match up.He force others to produce on the offensive end. He created steals and deflections and made scoring plays for himself and others filling the lanes.

Thompson proved to be an offensive threat for [program_tooltip program_id='2347629' first='Wisconsin' last='PHD']. He led with his energy in transition by pushing the pace in transition. He made short work of the defense before setting up. The six foot combo guard scored the ball in various ways throughout day one. Not only did he score off the dribble but showed off solid shooting mechanics off the catch.

Taylor ran the show for a solid [program_tooltip program_id='2347629' first='Wisconsin' last='PHD'] team. He was a calming presence at the lead guard position. The six foot one guard has good size to him and used it well creating mismatches. He worked his way into his spots. Most impressive was his ability to make reads in the pick and roll. Taylor hit the roller and made on time skip passes to get his teammates high quality looks at the rim.

Hipp made a statement on day 1 as far as shooting goes. His movement off the ball was pivotal to the Northern Lakers offense. His non stop motor made space for driving teammates and for himself when the ball began to swing. HIs wields a good base and quick release from range. Milwaukee Young Bucks marked him as a shooter throughout their day 1 matchup.

Arft had his hand in a great deal of impact plays for All Wisconsin on opening day. He did a great job protecting the paint on the defensive end. He had his head on a swivel seeing both the ball and his match up. His timely help made for tough contested shots for driving opponents. The six foot four wing has an impressive motor and is quick from end to end in transition. When attacking the basket he did surgical work in the paint. What really stood out was his ability to finish strong through contact with either hand.
