Rankings week coverage continues for the Class of 2027 with a look at the Power Forward spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470853' first='Kamsi' last='Awaka'] holds down not only the #1 spot at the Power Forward position, but also now claims the top overall spot in the 2027 rankings for New England. A terrific prospect on the offensive end of the floor, he continues to use his athleticism and strength to score around the rim while also expanding his playmaking out to the perimeter. He plays with a high motor, can defend in the paint or in space, and rebounds at a high level on the defensive glass.

Here are 10 more prospects of note at the Power Forward position.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470929' first='Filip' last='Mozoul'] #17

The Vermont Academy forward is a long and mobile prospect that makes high level plays in the open floor. Mozoul is already a strong defender, using his positional size, length, and athleticism to guard on the perimeter and in the paint. He blocks and alters a high number of shots, while also showing good instincts in passing lanes, leading to steals and deflections. He does a nice job as a rim runner, gets up the floor quickly, and has the ability to finish above the rim in space. He sets solid screens, rolls hard to the rim, and continues to improve as a finisher while showing a big catch radius.

[player_tooltip player_id='2341369' first='Isaiah' last='Bean-Brittian'] #29

The Kents Hill forward is athletic, agile, and fluid, allowing him to impact a game on both sides of the floor. He has the ability to make plays with the ball in his hands, showing good floor vision as a passer and the ability to finish through contact at the rim. His versatility allows him to make plays in the paint or on the perimeter and he shows the ability to operate as a jumbo initiator in the half-court. Defensively, he covers ground quickly, allowing him to make plays at the rim or in passing lanes. He guards up and down a position and has terrific lateral mobility, allowing him to defend ball screens in a variety of ways.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568355' first='Jack' last='Gedroge'] #35

The Kents Hill forward is a physical presence in the paint that continues to add elements to his game on the offensive end of the floor. He has a good frame and plus athleticism that, at 6'8", allows him to make his presence known around the rim. He can operate as a roller or pop guy when setting ball screens and shows touch on his jumper out to the three point line. Defensively, he can guard in the paint with his strength, moves his feet well when switched onto the perimeter in ball screens, and has the ability to control the glass as a rebounder both in space and in traffic.

[player_tooltip player_id='2470917' first='Jackson' last='Lockett'] #48

The MacDuffie School forward brings a high motor and toughness to the floor, making his presence felt around the basket on both ends. At 6'6" with a 6'9" wingspan, he operates as a hybrid forward that can play on the perimeter offensively while making a big impact defensively in the paint. He's a solid shot blocker, walls up without fouling in the paint, and plays aggressively on the defensive glass. Offensively, he has a nose for the ball on the glass, cuts hard to the rim from the perimeter, and shows a budding skill set as a shot maker from behind the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568470' first='Harrison' last='Hawkins'] #63

The Farmington forward has a great combination of length, mobility, and positional size, all of which contribute to his high ceiling as a prospect. He can play on the wing or in the paint, but is at his best right now when playing in space. He's long and lean, so adding strength will be important, but he doesn't back down physically and using his physical traits to his advantage defensively and as a rebounder. He makes plays in passing lanes defensively, comes from the help side to block shots with his length, and can guard in space with his agility. Offensively, he finishes around the rim with either hand, does a great job of running the floor in transition, and shows signs of being a creator in isolation situations off the bounce.

[player_tooltip player_id='2696638' first='Mihailo' last='Vojinovic'] #64

The MacDuffie School forward is a physical presence in the paint that has a big frame and the strength needed to play through contact. At 6'8" with wide shoulders, he does a good job of carving out space in the post. He has good hands and the ability to turn over either shoulder as a finisher. He sets solid screens, rolls hard to the rim, and can finish through contact in the paint. He plays with great energy and a high motor, which allows him to rebound out a high level on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he walls up in the paint, doesn't give up easy post position, and protects the rim without fouling.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568474' first='Henry' last='Tisdalle'] #96

The Dexter Southfield forward plays with a nice combination of athleticism and length, making plays on both ends of the floor. He does a nice job of making plays on the offensive glass, showing a nose for the ball and the motor needed to chase down loose balls in space. He finishes with either hand at the rim and uses his athleticism to do so over size. Defensively, he's mobile enough to guard in space, can protect the rim as a shot blocker, and does a nice job of controlling the glass and initiating the break with his rebounding and outlet passes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568464' first='Zion' last='Robinson'] #117

The Hopkins forward is athletic, fluid, and long, using that combination to make plays on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he covers ground quickly and uses his length to make plays in passing lanes and as a rim protector. He does a nice job of blocking shots from the help side and while guarding the ball in the post. Offensively, he has the ability to stretch the floor with his shot making, while also showing the ability to operate as a roller or pop guy in ball screens. He runs the floor hard, has good hands, and can score over size in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568522' first='Mohammed' last='Fadia'] #142

The Classical forward is a plus athlete that plays with a high motor and has the ability to go for a double-double every time he steps on the floor. He has a solid frame and at 6'6" with long arms, uses his athletic gifts to impact the game around the rim. He's physically strong and bouncy and does a nice job of dominating the area around the basket. He has good technique on his box outs, uses his strength to prevent opponents from establishing position on the block, and has good timing as a shot blocker. Offensively, he sets strong screens and rolls hard to the rim, while showing the athleticism and power needed to finish plays with authority around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2568539' first='Shane' last='Grogan'] #154

The Amity forward stretches the floor with his shot making, while also showing a high basketball IQ. He's continued to add elements to his game on the offensive end of the floor and shows the ability to score both in the paint and from behind the arc. He's a scoring threat at a pop guy out of ball screens, has a quick and high release on his jumper, and is beginning to leverage his shooting to open driving lanes. Defensively, he's better in space right now, but as he continues to add strength, should have the ability to defend a variety of positions on the floor while also contributing on the defensive glass.

Later this week we'll take a look at the Centers!

Rankings week coverage continues for the Class of 2027 with a look at the Power Forward spot.
