Gedroge, a forward out of Springfield Commonwealth Academy in Massachusetts, is ranked #22 among the power forwards and checks in at #128 overall in this update. The 6’8″ forward fits the bill of a modern stretch forward, showing the ability to make shots from the perimeter and to score with his back to the basket in the paint. He does a nice job of making plays out of ball screens and dribble handoffs, can get out and score in transition, and also has the ability to attack mismatches from the perimeter off the bounce. Defensively, he’s athletic enough to go get rebounds above the rim, can guard up and down a position, and has the ability to block shots from the help position.

Gedroge is a versatile forward who thrives in transition, consistently beating defenders down the floor for easy buckets. He has a smooth shooting stroke from beyond the arc, adding valuable floor spacing to his team. His ability to run the floor with energy and purpose makes him a constant threat in up-tempo situations. Gedrodge’s blend of mobility and shooting touch gives him a strong upside at the next level.

Gedroge made his way to New England from the United Kingdom this fall and instantly popped on the radar as a prospect to watch. A big man with the ability to stretch the floor, Gedroge will look to make his mark this winter at Kents Hill. An above the rim athlete that has a solid frame and the strength to make plays through contact in the paint, he stands out with his ability to consistently make shots from behind the arc. He has a quick and compact release and the size to get his jumper off against most defenders. He does a good job out of the trailer position in transition and isn’t afraid to put the ball on the floor to get to the rim. He also is a quality rim protector that can initiate the break off of his own defensive rebounds. He’s a prospect that should be on the radar of scholarship schools this winter and has a chance to rise up the rankings in the future.
