When Summers checks into the game, instant offense often follows. That was the case of a second half. With the Runners trailing, he changed the game as his iso based game proved to be too much for the opposition. He's a confident shooter off the dribble, with the ability to create openings in the mid-range and from three. He is also a skilled and smart finisher around the rim, who is starting to have more lift on those finishes. Along with Summers, his Norman North teammates Cooper-Kelley and Gregory were pivotal in the win for the Runners.

The freshman is playing up in the 17U division and athletically more than fit in. He thrived. Great end to end speed, along with strength and quickness. Lived at the rim, good control as a finisher in traffic. Has some youthful wildness to his game, with the occasional errant pass or trying to dribble through too much traffic. But the athletic traits and potential are there for the southeastern Oklahoma youngster. Has no back down to his game and helped Cubit Elite to an opening win.

Lightning quick and with a tight handle, Simpson is a handful to keep out of the lane. Especially as he looks to play the role of a distributor as much as he looks to score. Consistently made the right pass, rather it's a kick out to a shooter or threading the needle around the rim. His low center of gravity allows him to comfortably take contact on drives. Good excitement to the rising sophomore's game, as a change of pace guard who seemingly knows how to improve his teammates.

Solid guard, who was important in helping Cubit Elite close out their win. Stepped up on the defensive end against quick guards, with one particularly impressive sequence. Forced a steal and score, then immediately hounded the opposing ballhandler. Played defense with his feet, didn't bite on fakes and was physical without fouling. Had another good transition play shortly after, where he made the right pitch ahead, then kept moving. Was rewarded that possession when he sprinted ahead to the corner and hit a dagger triple. Nice foundation for the youngster.

Small town prospect with some wiggle to his game. First caught the eye with shifty driving to the rim, dissecting the opposition in the half court. On those finishes, he explodes upwards with good lift and finishes high for a smaller guard. Played with good energy throughout and made crucial plays in helping the Runners close out a win on Friday night.

Howard was an impactful rebounder, especially on the offensive end. Battles through blocks out and simply finds way to get on the glass. Converted putbacks and finished well around the basket. Also battled to protect the rim on defense, including an emphatic block in the second half. Hardworking forward prospect, who knows his strengths and plays to them.
