Prospects from the state of Tennessee had a good showing at this past weekend's Bluff City Showdown, especially the prospects in the 2026 class.

Here's who stood out:

[player_tooltip player_id='2083148' first='Axton' last='Perry'], Hoop City 17U: The 6-foot-6 forward displayed his ability to be a viable offensive option. Perry showed he can make shots from the perimeter, take his defender off the dribble, and finish at the rim. His length and athleticism makes him a tough task to score on. Perry can easily alter shots at the rim. He picked up an offer from Murray State over the weekend. I think it's only the beginning for the Bartlett High product.

[player_tooltip player_id='2307628' first='Sydney' last='Thompson'], [program_tooltip program_id='2078772' first='Team' last='Thad'] 16U: Thompson is one tough guard. He played hard on every possession. Thompson is the ultimate teammate: stifling on defense, good ball handler, respectable shooter, and good teammate. He never seems to get rattled throughout a contest. Thompson will help [program_tooltip program_id='2078772' first='Team' last='Thad'] win games for the remainder of spring and all of summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1919180' first='Dorien' last='Lyles'], Hoop City 17U: It was my first time seeing Lyles up close. He has great size and athleticism. Lyles can sit down and defend. He can make shots from the perimeter. Lyles is an all-around solid player.

Ghana Solongo, Hoop City 17U: Solongo just started playing basketball. This AAU season will be a great learning curve for the 7-1 big man. Solongo is very alert on the defensive end. He's active on the glass. Solongo has good hands, catching each alley-oop coming his way. His best basketball is down the road, but his improvement on both ends showed over the weekend.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194624' first='Eli' last='Brown'], Hoop City 17U: A backcourt with Brown and [player_tooltip player_id='1588175' first='Jonathan' last='Sanderson'] will win a lot of games on the New Balance circuit. Brown is an efficient scorer. He has good size at the guard spot. Not only is he trustworthy running the offense, but he's the guy, if not Sanderson, a team wants shouldering the offensive load.

Prospects from the state of Tennessee had a good showing at this past weekend's Bluff City Showdown, especially the prospects in the 2026 class.
