Typically, Zach plays expertly with his post teammate [player_tooltip player_id='3541255' first='John' last='Hardin']. Hardin won District MVP and All-Conference for Unaka. The two are not alone though as [player_tooltip player_id='3541298' first='Justius' last='Wallin'] is a third key contributor. Unaka last made the State Tournament in 2005.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mr. Basketball-Finalist <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2622887' first='Darion' last='Taylor'] </strong>(Humboldt) is the most athletic guard in all of Class A. While running with the [program_tooltip program_id='2076136' first='Clarksville' last='Crossovers'] last summer he stunned many an opponent. Taylor could sign football or basketball after high school. He is that rare kind of athlete.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1947289' first='Camden' last='Cole']</strong> (Eagleville) is a do-everything combo guard. Stronger than most, bouncier than almost all Class A hoopers, and better at rebounding than all guard, Cole hopes to thrust his Eagles into the State Tournament for the first time since 2019. Like Darion, Camden is a Mr. Basketball Finalist.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2364080' first='Will' last='McCrary']</strong> (Mr. Basketball Finalist) helped his Jackson County men knock off my favorite for the title, Pickett County to win the Regional Championship. McCrary will play for <a href="https://mcscots.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/coaches/raul-placeres/57">Raul Placeres</a> at Maryville College next fall. Great, great footwork. Jackson County advanced to the 2025 State Tournament, their sixth in school history.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>District MVP [player_tooltip player_id='2848501' first='Kaden' last='Henderson'] attacks from the wing standing 6-foot-2. Confident, capable three-pointer shooter. Primarily a high school shooting guard who projects as a small college combo.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Forward teammates <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2674198' first='Kenner' last='Haston'] </strong>(Perry County) and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2418543' first='Landon' last='Warren']</strong> are both ranked in the Top 70 of the junior class and Kenner is due a significant bump in the next update. Don't forget Kenner's younger brother <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='3443813' first='Kooper' last='Haston']</strong> or that their Dad Kirk was/is a Perry County legend who starred for Indiana University years back. Senior guard <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2289232' first='Colton' last='Pevahouse'] </strong>can play too at 6-foot-1.
