Carson Watson is a versatile player that understands how to use his frame to his advantage on the offensive end. You don't want to leave him open anywhere on the floor as he will make you pay at times by converting the opportunities given to him. He can shoot over smaller defenders with his back to the basket in the mid-range. He is someone his teammates are always looking for on offense as he gets things done on that end of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='2834305' first='Carter' last='Gallen'] shot making and selection was good against [program_tooltip program_id='2076446' first='Nike' last='Pro Skills San Antonio'] making sure he was wide open before attempting them. He knocked shots from all three levels being encouraged from his coach to be aggressive on that end. After his team secured possessions, he made some good outlet passes off defensive stops to start transition opportunities and distributed well to his teammates in the half court. Carter played up as an 8th grader the entire weekend actually keeping up with the speed of the 17U player present at the tournament. He will only get better playing against older kids over the summer!

[player_tooltip player_id='2558365' first='Noah' last='Smith'] was a huge shot maker in his game against Team ESBY making multiple shots from all 3 levels. Whether it was off the dribble or a catch and shoot situation for himself he made his impact by making shots providing the scoring needed to keep the game close. Also on offense, without the ball in his hands he moves along the perimeter to open, often getting open looks that way. Noah is a huge offensive threat that you don't leave open space on the perimeter. If so, you will most likely see a basket if you're going against him defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='2556234' first='Cooper' last='McWhorter'] has a good finesse to his offensive game using a variety of different moves to beat defenders off the dribble. As the team's biggest player for the weekend, he rebounded the ball well effectively on both ends of the floor even out hustling big men that were taller than him. Defensively he contested shots at the rim holding his own basically playing the center position throughout the weekend. Cooper was very comfortable in his role as I didn't see him complain about it. He competed at a high level despite the size mismatches he faced in all his games.

Jashawn Nobles on offense is willing to always attack the basket as it was effective all weekend long. He likes to drive to his right side a lot especially if he sees a lane to create for himself. When driving to the rim he drew a lot of contact getting to the free throw line multiple times. Defensively Jashawn got his hands on a lot of deflections over the weekend reading passing lanes well using his long wingspan.

Sam Langley made a huge impact on the glass on both ends of the floor carrying that stat line when I watched him play. Often, he finished layups in the paint when the opportunity was given to him moving without the ball in majority of those situations in the half court. Defensively he was the anchor that protected the rim well using his physical frame to block and contest shots!
