Harvard commit [player_tooltip player_id='1434219' first='Alex' last='Touomou'] has been a man on a mission this postseason for Gonzaga. Finished multiple games through the playoffs as the team's leading scorer. Alex is presenting multiple facets to his game that I was not accustomed to before this playoff run. A very active defender, coming away with steal after steal to start the break. Sweet shooting touch on his jumpshot from any range. Alex is a heady player that makes the right decision more times than not. Guided the team through the WCAC tournament with a big 20+ point outing in the semis before the eventual loss to PVI in the championship.

Dominic entered the postseason with a chip on his shoulder for Lanham Christian. The big man in the middle held his own in the MISAL conference championship, and continued on to states where he delivered a 19 point performance. He was a force in the paint on both sides of the ball. Dominic protected the basket extremely well and made it hard for Good Counsel to finish anything near the rim. He made some nice post fadeways from close, and finished through contact well to complete his baskets at the rim. Impressive run for the 5-man this postseason.

Kisean had a couple of sound games for Springdale as they began their MD Private School State Tournament journey this week. Robinson bounced back from Springdale's early MPSC tournament exit with a different style that I haven't seen from him before. Kisean took the role of point guard strong against Hebrew Academy and again vs McNamara in the second round of states. He was controlling the pace, setting the offense, and getting his team into the right spots on the floor. We know about the scoring ability, but the patience he showed in his shot selection was nice to see. He got through the lane with ease and kept his defender on his back, but Kisean looked for his bigs and shooters on the wing rather than taking tough layups and jumpshots. Mixed in his scoring well with his passing, scoring in double figures and totaling 6+ assists in both playoff games.

Berman Hebrew made their first ever MD Private School State Tournament after winning their conference. That had a lot to do with guard [player_tooltip player_id='2347768' first='Alex' last='August']. In this game vs Springdale his team was far outmatched mostly due to Springdale's overwhelming size. Nonetheless, August managed to finish with over 20 points in the game while keeping his team within shouting distance for most of the first half. Buried three-pointers from all around the perimeter, shooting over the top of closeouts. August was not afraid to attack the trio of bigs that were waiting underneath the rim for him. Alex drove strong and created opportunities for himself at the foul line. A promising showing from August who tried to lead his team to the upset but ultimately fell short.

Condon has been dominating the DC State tourney. The young Quaker has been the most consistent offensive force for Sidwell alongside Acaden. Most recently, Condon dropped an impressive 22 points over St. John's to advance to the DCSAA State Championship. Ian is starting to star in his role which is leading to his breakout performances lately. He can score effectively in the post backing down his defender, but has improved his touch around the rim. He makes bunnies and float shots around the rim over the top of waiting shot blockers. Condon has been shooting the ball well from deep during this run as well. His recent play should garner some more attention from scouts all around. Seems to be improving game-in and game-out.
