We've talked about how Valley View is a team on the rise with a 2027 duo that carried them this season and should continue to improve. Fritz still has some development to make physically and as a ball handler but the flashes he shows with his coordination at his size earned him a spot on our list. The fact Fritz averaged 15 points and 12 rebounds a night as a sophomore is very impressive as well, showing his monster production ability. I'll also be looking for Fritz to improve his 3-point percentage, he was 14/51 on the season as a sophomore.

Playing on a stacked and young Lutheran East squad, Nellemsbery provides some nice muscle and toughness on the interior while also showcasing the ability to stretch the floor from 3-point range. That combination is very important because Lutheran East wants to physically overwhelm teams while also being able to stretch the floor in the half-court offensively and Nellemsbery checks both of those boxes. A name to watch in northeast Ohio's 2027 class.

The Pups had a great postseason push to the regional title game and their physicality and defensive intensity were key factors in that push. Webster is a key part of that success as Webster can do a variety of things on both ends of the court. With a strong frame and good length, Webster can play tough on the interior or switch onto guards on the perimeter. In the one game I caught of Canton McKinley this season Webster had a couple in rhythm lefty mid-range shots and was aggressive attacking the rim. Expect Webster's role to continue to grow during his junior season.

Westerville North has been running roughshod through any opposition they've played in Division II this season and King is one of a few 2027 prospects that are breaking out this year. A multi-sport athlete, King also is a standout on the gridiron as well. His physical presence is obvious when you look at his frame and he's an excellent rebounder and displays soft hands as well on the hardwood. Look for King to continue to make noise and rack up all conference team nominations over his final two seasons for Westerville North in both the fall and winter.
