In late January Barnes knocked home 7 threes in a win over Methacton. So, it should not be a surprise that he had a hot again on Friday night as Barnes dropped 4 triples on his way to 34 points as Spring Ford downed Garnet Valley (69-64) in a 6A state tourney seeding game. Eight of those 34 points came during a critical stretch of the 4th quarter. In addition to splashing threes, Barnes used his speed, handles and finishing skills to score repeatedly on the fast break. Barnes also used those same assets in the half-court to get into the lane for lay-ins through contact. His court vision and well-timed passes produced several easy buckets for his SF teammates. On the defensive end, Barnes sliced through passing lanes for several steals.

Bottomley is a native of Canada and was a late addition to the Phelps 2024-25 roster. He hit the court for the first time in mid-January and has been torching opponents ever since. His latest standout performance came on Friday night as he poured in 23 points (4 threes) during Phelps upset of Perkiomen School in the PAISAA state tourney semifinals. In the win, Bottomley displayed his well-rounded floor general skill set. Bottomley scored at every level, pushed the rock in transition for scores as well as assists and directed half-court sets. His quick burst and elusive handles enabled him to create off the bounce for himself and teammates. When defenders sagged off him, Bottomley popped the 3-ball. Bottomley currently holds an offer from Fresno State, but more DI coaches should be contacting this talented prospect.

Fowlkes shrugged off Coatesville's stunning loss in the District 1-6A semifinals by registering 22 points in a 6A state tourney seeding game win over Lower Merion. Fowlkes was a defensive menace in this victory. He picked pockets and intercepted passes all night. The turnovers Fowlkes created led to transition points for him and his Coatesville teammates. In the half-court, Fowlkes used his elite quickness to attack the paint off the dribble. Once in the lane he converted on floaters as well as lay-ins and executed a few kick-out dimes. Fowlkes' dribble pull-up game was clicking too.

The top available two-way forward in Pennsylvania has received a handful of D2 offers, but on Friday night Rill proved once again that mid-major DI programs should contact him immediately. Two nights ago, Rill scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in CY's District 3-6A title game win over Central Dauphin. Eighteen of Rill's points came in the second half where he simply took over the game from the interior. With superstar guard [player_tooltip player_id='1287319' first='Ben' last='Natal'] on the bench because of foul trouble, Rill battled through a rolled ankle to score on post ups, out of pick-n-roll and via the offensive glass. Rill flashed an impressive face up game too. On the defensive end, Rill snared rebounds and blocked a couple of shots.
