Fox had a strong shooting night against Sagemont and will be a key factor on next season's Storm team. Returning next year having made the State Championship and came home runner up will certainly add an extra bit of fight in his game to will his team to the mountaintop. Fox has such a quick trigger you need to play him right up in his face to make sure he doesn't see daylight because if he does, and gets a good look at the basket, it's going up and he's a tough shot maker on top of it.

Junior forward McCalla also chipped in with a strong double-double. McCalla had 16 points and 12 rebound (4 offensive) and helped keep the game close in the first half for the Storm. Having him back next year in the post will be a great piece to keep pushing towards a state title.

Being one of the smaller players in the game, Bernard was all over the court for the Storm. He is also a great passer and got his teammates involved early and often in the first half. Another staple for next season being brought back who can set the table for his teammates and push the pace when necessary on the court.

Thomas put on a defensive clinic during the state championship. His ability to read his assignment and anticipate movement and shot attempts and meet some at the apex to block it was impressive. An anchor in the post and also able to lock down the wing on a switch, Thomas will become the prime defender most likely next year as well for Sagemont.

Clendenin is another returning guard for the rotation next year for Sagemont who will be ready to take over the scoring load and have an inside-outside game with Thomas already built in after playing together for a few years. Sagemont could very well be back in it next year and continue this run a bit more.
