Looking ahead to a good night of Indiana high school basketball at the New Castle Fieldhouse. The night starts with the Lawrence North Wildcats (22-6) vs. the Terre Haute N Vigo Patriots (21-5).

Lawrence North is on a hot streak, they have not lost a game since Feb. 18 (8 game win streak) and have been led by a couple of players. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1296979' first='Azavier' last='Robinson'], junior forwards [player_tooltip player_id='1509229' first='Kai' last='McGrew'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1729136' first='Brennan' last='Miller']. Robinson and McGrew are both in the top 25 in pts per 32 minutes in the state. Robinson ranked 6 with 23.2 pts and McGrew ranked 25 with 18.2.

Defensively Miller and McGrew are both averaging at least 8 rebounds a game. Combined they have 72 blocks on the season. Miller also has 6 double doubles on the season. They hope to have success while trying to shut down Sr forward [player_tooltip player_id='2053676' first='Bryce' last='Renn'], and Junior forward Brady Klopfenstien.

Who have had a good season themselves leading the Red Devils to two hard-fought victories in the playoffs. In a showdown with Bloomington South that ended at 64-62. Renn and Klopfenstien combined for 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Most recently against Whiteland, Junior guard Cam Fennell had a true standout game. Going 3/3 inside the arc and making 4 threes, he had 20 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, and only turned the ball over once. It seems like if he gets hot he will be a difficult player to stop.

In light of everything, Lawrence North appears to be the clear favorite to win in this game. They have an 8-game streak and are capable of overwhelming opponents, as demonstrated by their 80-42 win over Mooresville. With [player_tooltip player_id='1729136' first='Brennan' last='Miller'] controlling the paint and [player_tooltip player_id='1296979' first='Azavier' last='Robinson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1509229' first='Kai' last='McGrew'] leading the attack, they have a very good all-around team. Despite their inconsistency, Terre Haute North Vigo has demonstrated that they are capable of competing, particularly with players like Cam Fennell and [player_tooltip player_id='2053676' first='Bryce' last='Renn'] stepping up. Lawrence North should be able to win if they continue to play with intensity.
