<p><strong>MVP</strong><br><br><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2632136' first='Trey' last='Bahr'], 6-1, Sr., Aquinas</strong><br>Scored 20 points, handed out nine assists and had five rebounds in the Blugolds' 74-45 win over Bonduel in the Division 4 title game. Rock steady with the ball and strong enough to finish at the rim through contact.<br><br><strong>All-Tournament<br><br>[player_tooltip player_id='2224510' first='Finley' last='Strom'], 6-3, Jr., G, Aquinas</strong><br>Came off the bench to score 16 huge points to help Aquinas rally past defending state-champion Mineral Point 57-54 in the semifinals. Also had seven points in the championship game for the Blugolds. Lanky wing with deep shooting range.<br><br><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2391085' first='Ryan' last='Westrich'], 6-6, Jr., PF, Bonduel</strong><br>Was highly productive in the Bears' 59-41 win over The Prairie School in the semifinals, scoring 20 points and snaring 12 rebounds. The big football prospect found the going a bit tougher against Aquinas, but he still managed to put up decent numbers with 11 points and five rebounds.<br><br><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1874969' first='Drew' last='Aschliman'], 6-3, Jr., G, Mineral Point</strong><br>Aschliman helped Mineral Point to a 31-24 halftime lead over Aquinas by scoring 13 of his team-best 16 points in the first 18 minutes of the contest. He continually used his size and muscle to get to the basket and score for the Pointers.<br><br><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1890447' first='Logan' last='Becker'], 6-3, Jr., G, Aquinas</strong><br>Strong with the ball and a threat to score from downtown or off the bounce, Becker had 25 points and nine rebounds in two games at state. He also played all 36 minutes against Mineral Point, finishing that tight contest with three steals for the Blugolds.<br><br><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2542523' first='Race' last='Anvelink'], 6-0, Sr., G, Bonduel</strong><br>Anvelink had the tough assignment of guarding the top perimeter players from both The Prairie School and Aquinas, and he more than held his own in trying to keep the guards from either squad exploding for big offensive performances. In addition, Anvelink had eight points, five assists and four rebounds in the loss to Aquinas while also contributing 10 points, five rebounds and five steals in the win over The Prairie School.<br><br><strong>DIVISION 5<br><br>MVP<br><br>[player_tooltip player_id='2624236' first='Cameron' last='Lipinski'], 6-4., Sr., G/F, Cochrane-Fountain City</strong><br>Lipinski played stellar basketball in each of the Pirates' two wins at the state tournament. His size, skill and athleticism were difficult for Turtle Lake and Sheboygan Lutheran to deal with as he finished with 24 points, seven rebounds and five steals in the 66-54 triumph over Turtle Lake in the semifinals before going for 17 points and three made shots from outside the arc in the 60-54 win over Sheboygan Lutheran in the championship game.<br><br><strong>All-Tournament<br><br>[player_tooltip player_id='2390104' first='Porter' last='Ehrat'], 5-1, Sr., G/F, Cochrane-Fountain City</strong><br>Ehrat never came off the floor for the Pirates in their two wins at the state tournament, that is how important the versatile and productive senior wing was to the Pirates' run to a state championship. His ability to come up with big steals and assists in the tight title-game win over Sheboygan Lutheran was instrumental in Cochrane-Fountain City's triumph. He finished the game with 18 points, five rebounds, six assists and three steals.<br><br><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2224503' first='Brennen' last='Hackbarth'], 6-4, Jr., F, Sheboygan Lutheran</strong><br>Hackbarth kept the Crusaders within striking distance of Cochrane-Fountain City for most of the game as he scored 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. He made eight of his 10 field goal tries and finished 10-of-13 from the line. His size and ability to get the ball on the wing and attack the basket were difficult to stop. In Sheboygan Lutheran's 80-51 win over Abundant Life Christian in the semifinals, Hackbarth finished with 10 points, five rebounds and three assists.<br><br><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2406762' first='Brandon' last='Wagner'], 6-6, Jr., F, Turtle Lake</strong><br>The son of Turtle Lake coach Angela Weber, [player_tooltip player_id='2406762' first='Brandon' last='Wagner'] was simply outstanding in the Lakers' 66-54 loss to Cochrane-Fountain City in the semifinals. He finished the game with 27 points, 14 rebounds and three blocked shots. He drew six fouls on Cochrane-Fountain City defenders and went 10-of-17 from the floor, including four-of-nine from three-point range.<br><br><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2509476' first='Oliver' last='Leibham'], 5-9, Soph., G, Sheboygan Lutheran</strong><br>Leibham is like a sixth starter for the Crusaders as he played 24:43 minutes in the title game against Cochrane-Fountain City and 25:05 minutes in the semifinals against Abundant Life Christian. He had seven points, three assists and two steals in the loss to the Pirates while also scoring 16 points, snaring six rebounds and coming up with two steals against Abundant Life Christian. Leibham has a strong feel for the game and used his skill and strength to get open and provide a scoring option for the Crusaders.<br><br><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2813594' first='Reed' last='Schmidtknecht'], 5-11, Sr., G, Cochrane-Fountain City</strong><br>The man with the ball in his hands more than any other player for Cochrane-Fountain City, Schmidtknecht ran his team with precision as the Pirates won their first state title in boys' basketball. In the win over Sheboygan Lutheran, Schmidtknecht was particularly effective as he had eight points, five rebounds, one assist and one steal. Moreover, he played the entire game and committed just two turnovers. In the semifinal triumph over Turtle Lake, Schmidtknecht had 10 points, six assists and four steals.</p>
