<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1913769' first='Mikey' last='Beck'], Farmington</strong>: A 12 seed upset a 5 seed as Beck scored 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds as Farmington made the long trip to Las Cruces and ousted favored Organ Mountain. Three of the final 8 teams in Class 5A are from District 5A-1. Farmington reached the quarterfinal round of the state tourney for the first time since 2017.</p>
