Inside the Glass House, the pinnacle of Tennessee high school basketball, there is still a lingering awareness of life after high school, after the high school career ends. The following players are best suited to play college basketball and thrive at that next level.

1 - [player_tooltip player_id='1959160' first='Trey' last='Thompson'] (Greeneville) 2026

Shooting touch is as good as [player_tooltip player_id='1211987' first='Cade' last='Capps']. Agility is mid-major D1 now. Drop step is elite. Footwork underneath is already almost college good.

Butler Assistant Coach Jon Diebler watched Trey play Thursday. Middle Tennessee settled an assistant along the sideline too.

2 - [player_tooltip player_id='2133810' first='Ty' last='Cobb'] (Upperman) 2027

[player_tooltip player_id='2133810' first='Ty' last='Cobb']'s jumper woke up before the rooster Thursday. He made all 12 free throws he attempted. Knocked down his only two three-pointers. "He is a great player and I was honored to be on the stage with him and [player_tooltip player_id='1211987' first='Cade' last='Capps']," said [player_tooltip player_id='1959160' first='Trey' last='Thompson'] on being a Mr. Basketball Finalist alongside Ty. "Guys like him are going to make tough shots."

3 - [player_tooltip player_id='1259398' first='Michael' last='Nwoye'] (Hume-Fogg) 2025

Wonderful wing height and agility. [player_tooltip player_id='1259398' first='Michael' last='Nwoye'] projects as a versatile wing two-way player beyond high school.

4 - [player_tooltip player_id='1971524' first='JaDyn' last='Lee'] (Munford) 2025

Elite guard [player_tooltip player_id='1971524' first='JaDyn' last='Lee'] did not play a flawless game Thursday, largely owning to his bizarrely bad free throw shooting, but he was clearly the best hard-charging guard of the morning doubleheader. Lee wrapped with 30 points in a loss.

As a slasher, [player_tooltip player_id='2133810' first='Ty' last='Cobb'] might get to Lee's level in his next two years. Right now, Lee is the better finisher after harm though.

"He was making tough shots," said Greeneville guard [player_tooltip player_id='2816191' first='Zayden' last='Anderson'].

"He is a really, really good passer," said Greeneville Head Coach Brad Woolsey. "I don't know that we did a great job on him, but a lot of shots he made were just tough shots. We didn't allow him to distribute as easily as usual."

5 - [player_tooltip player_id='1347852' first='Chris' last='Mitchell'] (Jackson South Side) 2025

Agile, 6-foot-6 forward. Springy. Did not show range on his jumper but makes free throws historically. Impressive shotblocker and post intimidator.

Chris is the only player from this South Side team to start in a State Tournament game prior. He was a freshman when South Side ventured to Murfreesboro in 2022.

6 - [player_tooltip player_id='2373251' first='Isiah' last='Ring'] (Hume-Fogg) 2026

Top shelf athlete. Isiah did not play well in the quarters. He shot very poorly and was only passable as a ball-handler. It was an aberration. Ring is a talent with upside and college coaches will notice in the next 15 months.

7 - [player_tooltip player_id='1321569' first='Tacarien' last='Freeman'] (Fayette-Ware) 2025

"Bear" Freeman played quite well. The power guard kept the tempo fast and ran out with purpose when he was not the primary ball-handler.

8 - [player_tooltip player_id='2816168' first='Xavier' last='Farrell'] (Tullahoma) 2025

"This guy is a hard worker," said THS Head Coach. [player_tooltip player_id='2816168' first='Xavier' last='Farrell'] dominated all morning with lighting fast hands and powerful sprints up floor with the ball at his command.

9 - [player_tooltip player_id='1927473' first='Tarecous' last='Stevens'] (Fayette-Ware) 2025

Still raw. [player_tooltip player_id='1927473' first='Tarecous' last='Stevens'] played high school football this past fall for the first time in his high school career with the purpose of toughening him up some. Stevens is a very thin and springy forward.

10 - [player_tooltip player_id='1572498' first='Quaylan' last='Hampton'] (Fayette-Ware) 2025

Exceptionally speedy. Hampton's recruitment was always going to be slowed slightly by his diminutive size. His court awareness and bounce are quite good,

Honorable Mention
[player_tooltip player_id='2352126' first='Austin' last='Tinnon'] (Tullahoma)
[player_tooltip player_id='2115401' first='Eli' last='Patrick'] (Munford)
[player_tooltip player_id='2816191' first='Zayden' last='Anderson'] (Greeneville)
Sam Bobo (Tullahoma)
[player_tooltip player_id='2283267' first='Elijah' last='Lowe'] (Fayette-Ware)
